DOG FOUND - 09/11/06 @ 8.30PM, ELDERLY YORKSHIRE TERRIER, FEMALE, DOCK TAIL, BLACK AND TAN, CATERACTS, SCRUFFY, VERY SMELLY & COLD, SHAKING WHEN FOUND, NO ID/CHIP/COLLAR FOUND IN RUGELEY, STAFFS.TAKEN TO 'SUNNYSIDE KENNELS' ON 01902 790618 PHOTO can be seen here - http://www.dogpages.org.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=124972 I know your description says chipped, but it could have moved and not be readable.

BTW - just wanted to say that doglost are doing a fantastic job on this one (as all the other ones I'm sure). Jayne, Shelly and Jazzi have all kept me posted and are doing the absolute best they can do so I know that this will get sorted out one way or another. I hope and pray that it turns out to be Peggy Sue but if not, I'm sure everyone will still be on the case and there's no harm in re-postering etc. I hope the owners keep faith and don't give up xxx

Have swapped photo so finder can see how small the dog is in comparison to a motorbike-there does seem to be confusion on the size of Peggy Sue-press view poster to see larger image.

There is a Yorkie Terrier bitch black and tan on found pages today - I'm not sure of the area so don't know if its near you but its central and they say she is old, has sight problems and problems with her back legs - please can someone look into this? xxx

This is a long shot, but Yorkie bitch found (no 789 29th June), for some reason in 'lost' section, was found in Leicestershire Forest East which is not far from M1. The area Peggy Sue went missing from was also near the M1. The contact for the found one is doglost. Worth checking out. Chris

I have emailed Peggy Sues poster to Erewash Council Dog Wardens and the rescue centres in the area. The owner should urgently contact all local vets also try going from door to door as Brodie says she may be closer than you think. Ask all neighbours to check sheds, garages and outhouses as she may be hiding in themx

Oh god, this kind of thing makes me feel so sad! I know this is probably pointing out the obvious, but with displaced knees she can't be too far from where she was being walked. I take it the area has been thoroughly checked? Poor little thing, I hope you find her soon and that she's safe. Take care Peggy Sue and come home xxx
