Well done you guys below! Great work ....hope we give them all a leaflet to explain
how they can learn from this experience and what they can do to keep their baby safe. You only have to read on the site to see how many are tragically kill in road traffic accidents or on train
lines ....xx

Also I have phoned animal wardens twice and they did not have the decency to even ring me back !! I had to leave answer machine messages. Gosh people are so ungrateful aren't they !!

Hi Jane sorry to contradict but that dog was at the bottom of the motorway slip road unless they own the landfill site they are lying !! They should not let their lovely dog wander and it took me 2 hours to vac my car yesterday as she was caked with tip mud !! I hope this serves as a good lesson to them to take better care of her she was 100yds from being run over on the motorway and 5 yards from being hit by a truck on Pilsworth Road. That has made me really mad !! Look after your dogs !!

Thanks for letting us know x I'll move her into the Blue x

Speaking to a friend who is local to there, apparently the dog is always hanging around the 'tip' and belongs to a farmer down the road :-(

Hi all, I have two weimaraners and 10 different people would describe them differently ;-) anyway, after going back and forth with the animal wardens yesterday they confirmed that this dog has been reunited with the owner :-)
This is the e-mail I got at 10:54am yesterday (sorry for the delay in update)
Hi There,

The owner of the Weimaraner has come forward to claim the dog this morning. Aparently the dog was taken by someone from her land and handed in as they thought it was a stray. Hope this Helps.

Thanks
Animal Wardens

Spoke to Heywood Vet Centre lovely vet who is going to check his lost dog records and call me back. He said all Weimeraners are grey but the ones with slightly longer hair appear beige !! I did not know that x

The photo is of a similar dog as had no phone to take picture with me x

You could try Heywood vet centre as the owners may use it as their vets?
