Hello everyone. I'm not sure who still looks at this but we may have some news.i have been tagged in a post on facebook the same link from the post below that Higgiire has posted. I have been in contact with the dog warden in Suffolk and i am just waiting for a call back to confirm if it is her but everything they have said sounds very positive so lets all hope its her. I will update as soon as i hear anything. Thank you so much everyone x

Just tweeted for Lottie and also tweeted Essex Police to see if they can help. It is disturbing that so many Chihuahuas are being stolen because they can make so much money....wonder if there is a crime syndicate at large. Make sure you post Lottie on all sale sites...gumtree, preloaded, pets4homes, freeAds....poster everywhere and alert local vets. As she's chipped advise chip company and if you have a pedigree certificate advise them too x

yes she has access to the garden, I've looked everywhere. yes i have looked in the neighbours gardens as well. I've been to the train station and they haven't found anything. I've rang EVERYONE. the police are shit they told me lottie isn't worth there valuable time even though she's my family.
DogLostKimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders
Abigail, can we clarify: Lottie had access to garden and when you came home she wasn't there? Have you checked every single bit of garden to see if she could have squeezed through? Also check neighbour's gardens, ponds, sheds, deck chairs, bushes as well as the allotment sheds and their garden equipment - anything a little dog could get stuck in, or collar stuck on. If you are close the railway, please see if station master would walk the track to see if he can see her anywhere, as she's so little. Remember too, that you need to call the council's cleansing dept and the Highways Agency for your area (council will give you details). They won't call you if they see or find her, you have to call them. These depts don't scan if they find a dog. Also, if someone has decided to keep her, she needs to get scanned at a vet and not all new dogs at vets get scanned. So this is why you need to ensure all vets in a 10 or 20 mile radius have her poster. If she has been stolen, or if you believe it possible, have you spoken to police and got a crime number? They will probably check the garden and if satisfied there's no way she could have escaped, will issue a CRN. That means they should investigate the crime. You are doing a fantastic job. Finally, quite often, even months later, little dogs can be found wandering (been let go) and picked up public or dog warden - then they get scanned! Everything crossed for you and Lottie. x

This was posted on Pets Forever - Lost, Found & Reunited FB page. Helper alerted us. I know it says choc brown, but still worth investigating. Stolen dogs can end up anywhere.

Loose chihuahua
could you please help / share
I was going along oak road, Tiptree , Essex a tiny chihuahua was running along the path by the main road , it was petrified and ran in to some bushes and under a fence. I managed to crawl under it and it was a school playing field. I think it was chocolate brown. I failed to catch it and think it was either still in the playing field, there was some scrub which backed onto gardens.
abigail potter
ive been to the station and they put posters up in there for me and ive looked in all the feilds, allotments and ive put flyers through everyones door just need to keep looking x
DogLostMe N My Girl - Administrative Volunteer
Sorry I can't help in the physical search for Lottie but I have looked at the google earth map and noticed there are some allotments near you, may be worth a visit if you haven't already done so. Hope you find her tomorrow or at least get a few sightings from the posters.
DogLostKimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders
If you are close to the station, you need to poster all around that as well and alert the station master to the fact she's missing. Ask the shops opposite to display posters for you. You are fantastic! Bumping for search party. x
abigail potter

Lottie's owner is doing a brilliant job in making Lottie too hot to handle, she has had over 9,000 shares from just facebook alone! There is a search party by foot set up for tomorrow and Saturday. Meeting point is at Harold Wood Train Station at 9am if anyone can make it.

Some numbers to contact, Wanderers Haven animal rescue 01708-220168, Wallace Kennels 01277 821032, I think they take found Brentwood dogs as well as being a rescue. Gemini Kennels 01268 725825 who board Havering strays. Hornchurch Animal Rescue 07523 180744. Contact Havering dog warden (via council), local vets, and I think there's a branch of RSPCA or PDSA in Harold Hill. Ask neighbours to search their gardens and look in ponds for you. Sometimes these little ones don't wander far and can be found in nearby front gardens, if Lottie likes a squeeky take one out with you and "squeek as you walk". If you think Lottie has been stolen report it to the police, I hope you find Lottie soon.

Sorry she is missing and hope she will soon be home again x
