Thanks Patlucky Ill go back today and see if i can find him. Hopefully hes made his way home. I cant find any reported missing of his description. He may belong to the travellers of course as he jumped the fence innto the area they are camped in.Ill take food this time!

Not easy to catch a dog that does not wish to be caught. As a Labrador owner FOOD is a good idea.
If you sit lower than the dg with food and NO eye contact that will also help.
You will then be in a less dominant position.
Let the dog come to you and what ever you do don't grab at the collar.
Take it gentle and if you get to stroke the dog then gently take hold of collar.
Good luck and remember Labs LOVE .

My husband is trying to catch this dog. I will go there on my way home to try and get hold of him. He looks in quite good condition not like hes been out for ages and has a collar on.
Ive got a bit more info on this dog now im home from work.
It was first sighted on Forest Road Winkfield and ran along the road all the way to Warfield just before the Three Legged Cross pub. It ended up in the playing fields opposite.
I went there on my way home but couldnt find it anywhere. There are some travellers caravans in a field next door and thats where it had ran when last seen. Unable to get a photo im afraid. Last edited: 2014-03-11 19:00:25 by Clare
