- I think there's a site for lost and found jack russels but can't remember where I saw it mentioned. M25 isn't too far away, wonder if they could have been reported on there?

- Sorry if you are aware but, Wanderers Haven Upminster 01708-220168, Wallace Kennels 01277-821032 as well as being a rescue I think they are out of hours Chelmsford DW. Hornchurch Animal rescue 07523-180744. I think there's also a branch of RSPCA or PDSA at Harold Hill. Also contact (via councils)dogwardens for Havering, Epping and Bentwood. It's a bit of a nightmare finding the sites they might be posted on, good luck.

- Sad to see they're still not back. I have done another load of sharing around to all the sites I can think of in the area and general sites. Email address is the owners so think Jenny should have them all. Are there particular dogs homes in the areas that she should be checking daily - some do photos on line (which helps) and some don't of course. Really hope you get some news soon.

- Hi Jenny. Did Sarah give you the email I sent for you? You need to do call everyone that I have mentioned and put posters up all around the area. Just simple black & white ones, from a photocopier will last even in the rain without cover. You need to get word out to everyone. Did she get out of her own accord? Or, could she have been taken? This is important. If she could have been taken tell the police NOW!
Pls let us know. I am going to email you the information as I can see the email addy has changed to yours. Lady's poster is here. Look next to her photo on the left - "View "Poster". Print it off and copy it. Get your children to take leaflets into their schools for all the other kids. Let them put posters up wherever they can. Let's find your fur babies! xLast edited: 2014-03-17 21:01:38 by Kimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders - 2014-03-15 22:27 jenny

- Sarah, I need to get an email to owners with lost of advice. Can you print it off and give it to them please? I will email you now. It will be helpful for you to read it as well so you can help them. Thank you for listing these furbabes. Can you get owners to tell police and ask for a crime number? They need to prove they have been stolen in whatever way they can. If they have never disappeared before, then it could be the case. But owners need to do everything in the email as well as police contact. Sending now. x

- Sorry to see that LADY is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (65993)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
- Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
- DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
