Fabulous news...well done everyone who was looking out for this gorgeous girl especially LE DW !
Back in March it was scary to read how they were taken ....these thieves will have their day to answer for their greed. Make sure you always lock doors when in your home...sad I know but necessary ...stay safe and forever close Missy xx
Ellie
So pleased to receive Jumanjis text just now to let me know Missy is back home. I was bursting with excitement last night following a call from a Leicestershire DW to let me know she had been found but had to wait for this to be confirmed.
Always nice to see a long term missing dog reunited - Welcome home Missy!
Thank goodness for microchips and many thanks for the LE DW checking the DogLost site

Wonderful news !!! Missy was found wandering in the Leicestershire area and scanned. She has been reunited via her microchip with her delighted owner who has collected her today ! The power of the microchip once again !
I understand Missy is ok but has a few cuts and grazes.
Many thanks to central co ordinator Ellie who alerted me about this

Hi, I don't know if you have Missy back yet, but I saw a similar dog in Bingham Park, S11 today (18th) at 5ish. She was with a young man with a bike and another lurcher - which wasn't your other dog. The reason I noticed them was because my own lurcher is very similar to the other one (grey rough coated) and also because I hadn't seen them in the park before. Both dogs were on leads and the guy was cycling (and smoking!) and heading up the allotments in the park, then I lost sight of him. Just seemed odd, so thought I'd mention it.

Thanks everyone x
Missy was stolen from her owners kitchen along with Bullet a male saluki x greyhound doglost ID 66081between 4.30 and 5 pm on 14th March by 3 males with a SILVER MERCEDES CAR . The thieves entered the garden and opened the back door to steal the dogs whilst there was someone in the house .
The police are investigating and have issued a crime reference number.

Owners have contacted relevant authorities and are raising maximum public awareness via the Internet and social networking. I have also advised that they post on the Sheffield Forum and they are going to start postering to make Missy and Bullet TOO HOT TO HANDLE !
Really hoping Missy and Bullet are back home very soon x
