Just to add, friend believes this is the dog he saw (when on a bus) approx. 10:15am today on Chesterfield Road, near the old peoples home, heading up the hill. Said dog was a light colored sighthound and looked nervous - eyes darting.
(At least she's showing herself and there's been a few sightings from reading here. Hope she's reunited very soon).

Viewed by two builders on a roof on Crich Lane around 11am running down Crich Lane towards Chesterfield Rd jct. She turned right into a small park. I went into park 10 mins later with my GH but she wasn't there by then I'm afraid.
