There's an ad on gumtree posted 6 days ago of an elderly lemon roan bitch. Maybe worth a look if not already seen. Good luck.

Have you tried a door to door leaflet exercise, or if you have already try repeating it. Winnie may not have travelled far and it could jog someone's memory. Not everyone is on facebook or the internet even, and news gets old quickly. It worked the second time round for my daughter's cat (just doors away).

Thanks for letting us know about the Beddie. Hope Winnie can be found soon.

Could the found dog be Toby 63686? Stolen mid March 2014in Essex CM9?
Which rescue has the Bedlington gone to, please?

I have received this text from Liz, sadly, the dog picked up was not Winnie :( x

Just heard from animal rescue it wasn't Winnie it was an old bedlington handed in. At least it was a happy ending for that dog and owners. Thanks for every thing, we won't give up x

Fingers tightly crossed that this was Winnie and she's safely back home soon x

I have just spoken to Winnie's owner Liz. There was a blonde, scruffy, thin dog picked up by a lady in a silver golf on Wednesday 16th April, this dog was also seen by someone else running out of the field and back in. Liz has been in contact with wardens, kennels, police, vets, RSPCA, local radio etc, but no-one has had a dog matching this description handed in.
I have advised to keep putting lots of posters up, hopefully they will work their magic.
Hope to see Winnie home safe very soon x

Winnie's owner contacted MDH today, they have not got a Cocker Spaniel in, so it seems to be false information. They are out searching for Winnie everyday and will not give up until they find her. I have everything crossed this little lady is soon home x

Thank you Sharon x

Been in contact with Winnie's owner tonight. They have been out searching again all day, they got in about an hour ago and have received a phone call to say there is a dog matching Winnie's desciption at Manchester Dogs Home. Bit of a distance but it is possible if she has been picked up (there has also been travellers in the area), owner will contact them tomorrow - fingers crossed x
