I am so very sorry to read this extremely tragic news of much loved and missed Homie :( I can't even begin to imagine how his owners are feeling, my heart goes out to them and I hope the thought of him running free at rainbow bridge with all the other fur babies, will bring them some peace in his passing. RIP little man x

Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.

There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.

There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

So very, very sorry to hear about Homie. My thoughts are with his family. Goodnight, Homie, sleep tight, and play with Bess, who went to the bridge recently. Homie was found on the railway line near Culcheth, sadly he had been hit by a train and had died. We would like to thank all the kind people who who gave of there time to help in the search for our Homie. We will miss him.

Had a walk through the fields from culcheth to eastlancs rd on Sunday, Sorry no sightings.
Put some more posters up today on public footpaths in Culcheth.

Just spoke to Homie's owner who has received a phonecall from the landlord of the foresters arms pub (glazebury) since we postered there yesterday to say a member of staff thinks they saw Homie on the 3rd April. He may have crossed the east lancs rd, so anyone in glazebury-culcheth please keep your eyes open.

Myself & Paula Marie spent yesterday afternoon postering Pennington,Lowton, Croft,Culcheth & Glazebury. Really hope this instigates a sighting or some information.

Sorry for late reply also trying to help with a missing Beagle form Leigh area. No it wasn't me who sighted Homie I have spoken to owner and the post I made is of the last reported sighting they have had. If you are Willow missing now reunited Willow's mum Adele has my contact details.

rang Chris the man who tracks-he is very busy but if at all possible he will ring you for further details and possibly go to area where siting was.
I went along today but sadly no siting.I started off at Glazebury and walked to past the atherleigh way.i also walked under the east lancs road via the subway.spoke to someone who lived in the area and he remembers seeing a small reddish coloured dog about 10 days ago.so it looks like he has remained in the same area to as least 26/3/14.

Last known sighting was on Wednesday 26tth March in fields off the Eastlancs road A580 at the end of the A579 in the area between Kenyon Lane and Glazebury on map.
