- There seems to be lots of good Lurcher Rescue Centres, if you look on the GreyhoundandLurcherRescue.co.uk website, in the Rescues section there are lots of different rescue centres and I am sure they will point you in the right direction. Alternatively there is LurcherLink website which has a forum.. I hope this helps x

I NEED URGENT HELP AND ADVICE, my daughter and her boyfriend have come across a badly treated lurcher type dog. He is temporarily in her care but he needs help as he is thin. She already has a recent adoption of a german shepherd and so cannot take this dog too. Does anyone know of good rescue space that would take him and look after him. He is very thin and missing teeth and needs love and care.
He will be at Lonely Hearths Rescue,Kingsland Herefordshire. Thanks all xx
