Couldn't have received better news today .... So pleased this little lady is now home safe where she belongs, no doubt under house arrest for a while !
I gather she's shaken but otherwise unhurt after her adventure and was found when spooked by riders on horseback, flushing her out to the search party on foot. What a team :)
I'd like to say thank you to everyone that has shared and supported her owners over the last few days and a very big thanks to everyone that turned out today for the search party. Fabulous result! X

We've had to call it a day now and have not long left. Have just dropped into the golf club and emailed Maggie's poster to the very helpful manager there so he can spread the word and let the groundsman know. The golf course itself is very accessible to her , just a wire fence she could easily slip under .
We've covered the path a couple of times that runs right along the side of the golf course and rummaged through the woods but there are so many places she could be hiding amongst bushes , heather and bramble. That and an expanse of heathland.
Have met quite a few dog walkers and friends of the owners along the way most of who are aware she's missing and the estate is fairly well postered and entry points to the Heath.
Am aware that we have at least a couple more helpers going out this afternoon.
It's wet and muddy so anyone able to go out to help search , wear wellies !!

Maggie's owner has just taken a call to say Maggie has been spotted on the heathland near to her home but by the golf course . On our way over now to look x

Have been speaking with Maggie's owner again this evening who has advised the warden, vets and been postering. There have been no sightings of Maggie since her disappearance. We are trying to organise a search parties over the weekend for both Saturday and Sunday to cover the common at the end of her road.
Meeting point for both days is to be the entrance to the park at the end of DUGDELL ROAD, TRICKETTS CROSS BH22 at 11 am
