Just said a thank you on Radio Suffolk to everyone who helped find Hodge but in the heat of the moment don't think I specifically mentioned the team at Stratford Hills Farm (doh!). Have asked the radio presenter to broadcast another thank you which should go out later in the programme. Anyway, a million apologies for the brain fade. We really do appreciate all you did. Without your kindness, I'm not sure we'd have got him back.

So so happy that hodge has been reunited with his family we at Stratford Hills has spent the last 4 days trying to befriend hodge he was excatly what was described on Dog Lost and the power of Facebook is unbelievable. ?...it was a shame that suffolk county council and RSPCA was not interested in helping us.....so hoping he has enjoyed a nice dinner and sleep x

Brilliant news - Hodge is home! Thin and exhausted but back. Thank you so much. A brilliant result. Must admit I'd begun to give up hope after his 10 days on the run. Thank you so much to Wendy and Nick and the girls at Stratford Hill Farm and Livery (where he was found 14 miles from where he went missing) whose garden seat proved such an attraction! Special thanks to Helen, Alison and KIm and all the people who rang with sightings. Couldn't have done it without you!

I have left messages and sent a picture via text to mobile and no one is replying this evening. The dog looks under fed now but still wearing red collar.. Thanks to Helen and chap who reported a lurcher in Bottesdale. A long way from original sightings but went and had a hunt but no joy. Have since had a call from a lady who saw him in Wattisham/Great Bricett area on Monday. Off to that area tonight (Wednesday). A week on and another definite sighting. The hunt continues....

There has been a sighting of a greyish Whippet type dog wearing a red collar running along the A143 at Bottesdale heading towards Diss, although a fair distance from Hodge has been seen I have contacted Martin and he will be speaking to the person who saw this dog.

Flyers made up and E-mailed to you Claire.

Thanks for the ideas. Needham boot sale worth a try if I can get time off work! We've heard of about half a dozen people who tried to catch him but he is so nervous he has run away - good to know people are trying. Perhaps now he must be really tired and hungry he might hand himself in!
Abe babe
Hundreds of people will be at Needham Bootsale early tomorrow (Wed) morning, how about handing out leaflets there, (or make a sandwich board to wear) many visitors will be from surrounding areas... would be a brilliant opportunity to get the word out.
Also perhaps someone could poster Needham Lakes, it's popular and visitors there will also be mostly locals.
Put some posters in your car windows too..
Claire
Thank you all so much for your help. Have been out searching the last three days, just got in 9pm Monday April 7th - so many sightings but he is such a nervous dog he won't be caught. Sightings so far near RAF Wattisham, Ringshall, Great Bricett, Barking and probably the most recent was Saturday evening in Elmsett. Please call with any new sightings as unlikely to come to a stranger. So good to know he's still about, if elusive. With heartfelt thanks from Hodgie's owners Martin and Claire.
