- WELL DONE YOU All your hard work on here + the work of the Police etc. & us 'joe public' for sharing & tweeting & making this dog 'too hot to handle' - I DO hope the Owner is recovering well & Bella OK from her situation - stay safe now :)
let's make all other missing / stolen Dogs 'too hot to handle' too & lets hope that the DNA is stored for future ref.where all stolen Dogs are recovered. This ' upward trend' of Stealing Dogs needs to be given max. Penalties - Chop off their Hands & they won't do it again - & maybe the Punishment will make them think twice before EVEN stealing for the 1st time !!!

- Well done everyone especially Crime Stoppers whom I had cause to contact a few years ago; the problem was solved very quickly:-) I hope both Bella, and her owner are okay, as it must have been so terrifying, and traumatic for them both. People like these only tend to attacj the vulnerable. They are cowards! ((((HUGS)))) to bothxxx

UPDATE posted 15.04.14 on Skelmersdale Police fb page:
Skelmersdale Police - Hi all, we have been a little busy lately so have been unable to update the post. I know a lot of you are wondering why we did not just go in to the address immediately and retrieve Bella. Well, initially due to shock the victim did not immediately report the incident and was unsure as to the exact address, so there was a time delay. The delay gave the offenders time to escape. Thankfully as you are now aware Bella has been located. She was to quote Majorjet DogLost NW Co-ordinator TOO HOT TO HANDLE! Thanks to Crime stoppers adn MErseyside police for their assistance. And to answer another question, yes DNA evidence can be recovered from dogs. Every contact leaves a trace.....
