The sighting of the black Cocker Spaniel on Mon 28/04/14 unfortunately appears highly unlikely to be Stevie. This sighting the dog was reported to be wearing a collar and tag.. so conflicts with Stevie's collar found 10 miles from where he was last seen :(

Spoke to owner a short while ago to establish where in Savernake Forest Stevie was lost. They were walking in the area of The Grand Avenue (SN8) and spent 3 hours calling for her. Her collar was found near Inkpen/Ham which is some 10 miles away! This unfortunately appears to me to be a theft. Posters have been put up in a wide area and appears that necessary people have been contacted. I have mentioned it to neighbours with working dogs who will equally spread the word. I believe family will contact local community establishments in case the dog is being offered. I too will encourage Facebook sharing. I hope this little beauty can be returned to her family soon.
