It was Molly and she is now safely back with her family, sunning herself outside their caravan I might add lol. Details on her microchip will be updated asap. The owners wanted to say a huge thank you to all for their help they are over the moon.

Paula Marie, thank you for posting and contacting the owners. They had a look at the photo and thought the found dog was a bit too grey around the muzzle. I have just seen that Dogs in Salford have commented that the dog is chipped to an address in Openshaw and I've just checked and that is the area that Molly is chipped to. Owners are now ringing Leigh Cats and Dogs home to double check if its her. Fingers crossed, will update as soon as I hear.

Dogs in Salford Facebook page have photos of Choc Lab. The Lab was found Irlam oth the Heights and taken to Leigh as no up to date ID.

Just spoke to the owners, Molly is chipped to an old address and the warden gave me their new postcode so just hoping he wasn't getting confused and reading out their missing report rather than a dog that has been found. Does that make sense?? Owners are ringing the warden to clarify the situation. Fingers crossed.

Just rang the out of hours service for Tameside and a chocolate lab was picked up yesterday in the Denton area. Will ring the owners now.

Its saying on the Major Pub post that the dog has been reunited with its owner, posted 14 hours ago (as of 2pm today) which would make it last night??

there was a older brown dog found yesterday , older looking, might be worth a look. bleakholt page on face book, (pics in a pub while being looked after) sorry dont know how to share the pic x
