Oh no, how sad. I am so very, very sorry, and my thoughts are with Mr and Mrs Curtis as this time. Bracken obviously had a long and happy life, and was able to be brought home and laid to rest in the garden. Run free at the bridge, beautiful Bracken xxxx

We are very sad to tell you all that Bracken has been found dead.
Mr and Mrs Curtis are devastated but so grateful to the many kind people who gave their time so freely to try and find this beloved pet. They are both very glad that he has been brought home and he will have a special place in their garden. Mr and Mrs Curtis have been overwhelmed by the kindness of you all and say their faith in the human race has been restored by you all. They have asked me to thank each and everyone for their help in this. Well done Highland Dogblog and all others, you are all stars . X X

"Bracken is a 16 year old Collie/Lab X who went missing in Delnies Woods. His owner Bob is 90 and is so distressed. He has been out looking for him since he went off and he is very upset. Please, if you're anywhere in this area look out for Bracken - even if it's under trees/along sides of the roads in that area etc - good news or bad please call Iona at Munlochy Animal Aid or msg HDB and we'll get through to them. Thank you to all who came out to look this morning"
