- Have Lola's owners been contacted re wibble58's post?(0)
Police are seeking the owner of a spaniel that has been found near the Walham sub station off the A40 bypass outside Gloucester.
The dog was found on Thursday 8 Jan by officers at the balancing pond area next to Walham sub-station off of the A40 bypass.
The black cocker spaniel bitch is thought to be approximately three to four years old and appears to have had a litter of puppies at some point.
The dog is chipped, the chip apparently being installed by Archer field vets in Ross on Wye, possibly in 2012.
A picture of the spaniel is shown and anyone with information about her is asked to contact police on 101

- Hi, the article in the Daily Mail (i searched google for Mark Hubbard) says he was contacted by a dog warden. I have been keeping an eye out for her when I go riding in the area with my dogs but have not seen any sign of her. Dogs were stolen from Shulbrede Priory so there may well be local thieves targeting gun dogs? Mark Hubbard seems to work at Midhurst Bakery but that might be out of date. Good luck!

- Hi - its Lucy here - Lola's owner. Today in the Daily Mail on P19 was an article about a black cocker that went missing for 15 months and finally returned to its owner, Mark A Hubbard in Haslemere, Does anybody know him or have his telephone number? It is ex-directory. But I'd like to talk to him to see how she eventually turned up.

- Lesley Harbron Hi Kim, I'm on my tablet and cannot add links but a black spaniel was found exhausted and matted. Chip out of date. Will be rehomed if owner not found. Look on lost and found pets worldwide, green logo with my missing ginger and white kitty (this was a post on Tandridge Beat police after they found 2 stolen spaniels and returned one to owner.

- We may have spotted a dog matching Lola's description on Blackdown Common yesterday. We saw a black working cocker spaniel, white on chest, red collar running at speed across one of the main tracks. Unfortunately we cannot be certain it was the same dog as it was too fast for us to stop. We have informed the owner.

- thats a good idea, I hope you find her soon

- Can you start a facebook campaign and ask people to share it? Sometimes it makes a stolen dog too hot to handle.
- 2014-05-14 12:52 lucyod
- No news. It is devastating. I am now convinced she has been stolen.
- 2014-05-13 07:39 missy

- We'll go to Marley Common this morning then we are off on holiday but will log in for news.
- 2014-05-02 18:18 Micksmum
- Lucy, I am really so sorry that the dog wasn't Lola. We don't normally walk Marley and Reeks, but will do so when we can and continue searching. I don't know what else to say except I hope she is found soon.
- 2014-05-02 16:05 lucyod
- A woman called Penny called to say that she had found a dog this morning on Blackdown fitting Lola's description and with a red collar, but that it was a male dog and has been taken to the local vet. This is not good news for Lola as it means that the sightings we had on Blackdown were probably not Lola but this other dog (very happy for other dog's owner though). Now I am going to concentrate my search nearer to where she was lost from - Reeks Wood, Vann Road and heading up Marley area.
- 2014-05-01 23:56 lucyod

- I have sent details to SURREY POLICE contact ( mark is a wildlife officer so often covering rural areas) and he has replied that he has circulated this to the area officers.
Although its normally done for stolen dogs they will if asked let others know for missing ones. Hope this will help. - 2014-04-28 07:49 CJ - Police Liaison & SE Regional Coordinator
