- It could be that someone has been feeding him, and thinks he has been adopted. If you have something with Chad`s scent on, leave in the garden in a dry area (In a container of course). Put something with your scent on too. He is neutered, so has not gone looking for the ladies. I would leave posters up, and as DL advises put small "Lost" posters through as many doors as you can. Neutered male cats tend only to have a territory of 4 large garden spaces. Good luckx Keep us p;osted.
