Golden lab found in central today Handed into Grantham Police, Labrador, mid to pale golden colour, overweight, wearing webbing collar.

Have been searching for Newton since 20th July when he originally went missing. (It was a bit difficult because our car was broken so we couldn't get across to his area to go looking or put up posters) Reported him to police and dog wardens in Coventry and Warwickshire. His details were also taken by Pet Search, Dogs Trust Honiley, Birmingham Dogs Home and a variety of vets in the local area (incase he had been taken in injured). Have chased these numbers up a few times but obviously no luck so far (just one false alarm a couple of weeks back). Will distribute posters now. Can see Earlsdon is already done. Will do Chapelfields, Lake View Park, local shops and vets in this area.

hi am in Nuneaton and just printed posters so will distribute them for you. why not do a hand out in coventry town. I did it with molly my missing boxer. I havent found her even though its been6 months since she was stolen but let more people know through handing out leaflets in the town. who knows. will be thinking of you as i do everyone who has a loved animal missing. xx michellex

Hurry home soon to your family Newton and stay safe until you are found. Posters the parks in Coventry, War Memorial Park, Kenilworth Road which is very popular with dog walker and joggers and Wainbody Wood which is also popular with dog walkers. Also worth having a look at http://www.coventry.gov.uk, click on culture and leisure, then parks and open spaces and then parks in Coventry. Also poster Pool Meadow Bus Station and take a poster to Pets at Home, 158 Sir Henry Parks Road, Canley, (02476718180)a large and popular pet supermarket, also a Pets at home in Coventry at Unit E Gallagher Retail Park(02476661314). Good luckxxxx

Also The Dogs Trust -Kenilworth 01926 484398, The Blue Cross, RSPCA- 024 76336616, Rugby Animal Trust 01788 576680, Branston Re-homing Centre 01788 891260. His owners should contact the above and Drayton Barn Farm 01827 713295 and Forest Lodge Kennels 01604 862239 (local strays can be taken to these) asap to check and to register him missing. I hope he is home soonx
