On the afternoon of saturday 3rd, my dad stopped his car to rescue a fawn female Italian greyhound from the middle of the road not far from the Kingsbury branch of Medivet. We took her to the Hendon branch to be cared for. We know she only had a few cuts, but not if she was reunited with her family. Could Sophie be this dog, as it's a bit of a coincidence?

Hello Karen14568 So sorry to hear you also have a lost dog , I know how awful it is as we had one lost for nearly three weeks. Dog lost posters & leaflets helped to get her back. Thank you for helping with little Sophie. Best wishes foe a good result for you too xxx

We're in Wembley today, so will drive all round to get where we are going. We also have a missing dog, so know how owners are feeling, fingers crossed for good news quickly. I saw posters today on the pond side of Barn Hill and heading down the hill to Wembley Park. I hadn't been online so have only just seen this here. Am local and willing to help if I can.

My area but away til tues, have shared on FB and twitter, gather sunny weekend in London so lots will go to Barn Hill. hope there's posters EVERYWHERE?? Let 24hr vet know( Medivet Hendon) and Mayhew Animal Home as well as local taxi firms etc. Ask ASDA if they'll put up a poster?? Good luck.

Having just spoken with the search team I need to make some clarifications. Sophie is 9 and a half years old, a little on the chubby side, towards the smaller side of the breed. On reflection the owner now recalls Sophie is Tattooed not Micro-chipped. she is a fawn dog. the picture on the poster is a similar dog of the same breeding as Sophie

The owners have been sitting by the front door all night with it open. She in missing from the barn his/ fourth Rd area

As she ran from home the owners need to ensure that the gates to the property and preferably the door she normally enters and exits the house is left open especially tonight.

Where abouts in Wembley is she missing from ? I lived in Greenford and Northolt so have friends in the area.

Spent this evening out looking for Sophie. she is very shy but can be friendly. quiet food centered. if you make loud noises or move too fast she has a tendency to run. People are making posters and leaflets to hopefully distribute tomorrow.

This has come to me as an Italian Greyhound but the information above says greyhound - there is a big difference. Can someone please tell us which we are looking out for?
