- Im so pleased she has been caught, it can be so difficult with a nervous dog. Owner told me there was about 50 lovely kind people searching for her, and a man pounced on her when he saw her asleep !.
She has been to the vets , which is always a good idea when dogs have been out a while, and other than being exhausted , she is OK .Thanks to all who have helped this gorgeous girl , BTW Me n my girl I wouldn't always suggest pouncing on a dog but in this case It worked !!Last edited: 2014-05-14 23:25:46 by Mollychops - 2014-05-14 22:31 Me N My Girl - Administrative Volunteer

- Love a map Mollychops, and just realised this girlies name is Molly. From "The Map" and street scene at bottom it looks as if it would be a good area to use binoculars in.XX

- It may be worth contacting local dog boarding kennels, Woodfarm, Gospel End DY3 4HA 01902 675220 and across Stourbridge rd there's Long Meadow, Himley Fields DY3 4LP tel 01902 893495. I've also noticed Himley Hall Golf Club 01902 895207, she just might be enticed into the areas by the smells and barking hungry dogs. Hope you find the beautiful girl soon. - owner is still out laying scenting trails, really good work going on here

- Nice that people are prepared to go out searching. However if this dog is as scared as It seems to be the less out there the better just watching areas from a distance may help. Fosterer would be the one the dog will trust. scenting from them and patience will give Molly the confidence to show herself more. Maybe fosterer had another dog whilst Molly was there. Good luck.

- Maybe just Mollys fosterer tries on her own, go out the same time tomorrow morning as she was spotted today ie 7am .and dusk tonight, this is when often dogs that are lost come out to look for food. When its quiet. They hide up during the day, when people are about .Ive sent a very good advice sheet on luring a dog in, when lost and scared. Very often they will not recognise the owner or in this case mOLLYS fosterer, survival instinct kicks in. I repeat what I said I my previous post , let her come to you , if you try the other way she will run

- Molly's fosterer,(along with new owners and several friends/volunteers)has spent most of the day in the park but Molly chose to stay hidden. She has been seen several times but disappears when she sees people. Hopefully she will get hungry and go to her crate which she loves.Last edited: 2014-05-09 18:18:53 by jo123

- Owner has been putting food down/ chicken with her open crate and bedding. She is doing a great job. Molly's fosterer is on the way this morning to try and catch Molly by luring in with some smelly fish etc. Ive explained she mustn't be approached or chased. Let her go to them . Fingers crossed she will give her self up today. Its a relatively safe area where she is staying, and she must be allowed to stay there until caught.
