Sadly Marmite has gone to Rainbow Bridge.
She was found on Lushington Beach near Porthtowan yesterday afternoon. She had been there all the time. The owners managed to collect her at low tide & take her home to be buried in the garden.
They would like to thank everyone for their support, which they said was amazing & made a huge difference.
Run free Marmite in the warm sunshine. Sending hugs to your owners.
Tiana

No news of Marmite. Mines in the area are all capped

Have postered up by airfield in Portreath. Put a bigger poster in Costcutter, one at side of main carpark by harbour. Checked a few other places, which seemed to have one. Spoke to some dog walkers who had seen posters near Porthtowan. Put one in my local coffee shop in perranporth, as lots of dog walkers go to beach there.

I don't have a printer, but if my neighbour comes back from hols tonight, will get her to print some off so I can go out tomorrow morning.

Searched around back of West Cliffs towards Portreath to no avail. Met neighbours of owner who are also looking. Posters up at Tehidy now, ran out of same but could do with more postering around Portreath if anyone local and available? Land backs onto old air base then down to the beach, would be good to get people looking out for her and reporting sightings.

Am over that way tomorrow so will put more posters up and have a look.

Marmite ran from the house at 9pm, possibly after a fox which is fairly usual but she would normally return after 5 minutes or so. Owner thinks she could have got herself stuck or fallen into hole or shaft. I've given the number to local man who is an expert on mines. Suggested to thoroughly search the area to make sure she's not stuck anywhere. Posters are also up but owner will be putting more up ASAP
Tiana
Sorry to hear she's still missing, spotted ad on local radio post earlier this week. Poster area well as many will be on the coastal path/road so can keep an eye out. She may have gone across country into Tehidy Country Park so worth a try too.
Will keep a look out for you, good luck!
