- So terribly sad. When did Nana die? Shed been missing 8 days. The report I read says that Vales were the vets who had to put her to sleep, they are in Kidderminster and Stourport, I wonder when all this happened and whether the breeders thought to contact local vets? Poor Nana...poor owners. Questions will need to be asked and answered by these breeders.

- STATUS UPDATE ON K9 SEARCH UK 12.05.14 - RAINBOW BRIDGE
Nana was injured in an rta and was put to sleep on welfare grounds. - 2014-05-12 14:29 Neighbark
- I feel very uneasy about this poor dog. What were the circumstances of her 'disappearing' ..surely a breeder of all people would know how to keep a dog safe and secure. Local pound/ rescue not contacted until I rang them myself yesterday. (Forest rescue), one rescue told the breeder at Churchill to register on Doglost site...but not done...were the police contacted? I think there's grounds for contacting police, but so much time been lost- and I'm so sad to hear she wasn't microchipped. Have all pounds within a good 30-40 miles been contacted? Visited? I know in this area that pounds are full and often dogs are transported to pounds/rescues a long way off, giving searching owners less chance of being reunited. I am absolutely livid that all this time was wasted by the very people the owner obviously believed they could trust!
