- Just received a call from Bailey's owner and they have him back. They got a call that he had been seen, and raced to the area with their dog. They started walking the area and Bailey appeared out of the bushes delighted to see them. He doesn't appear too stressed or anything - just pleased to be back with someone he knows. Many thanks to all who helped - particularly the locals who both kept an eye out for him and spread the word.
Fences being raised (already almost 6'!!) as I write .....Last edited: 2014-05-14 15:26:58 by GSP Rescue (SW) - 2014-05-14 13:47 Unknown
- I was told that food should be left with a mat over it as a dog will remove the cover but wildlife are less likely to and it will give you a better idea of what's taking the food. Hope this helps

- Just spoken to the owner. Bailey was seen yesterday evening by a horse rider on the edge of the village. The owners visited the area once informed yesterday and again early this morning, but saw no sign of him. They left food out in the garden which was gone this morning, but of course not known if it was Bailey or a fox .....
The owners have handed out fliers around the village, and plan to put up more posters to ensure that all are aware.

- Bailey is an English Pointer cross, but looks mainly like an English pointer but is solid liver. He is shy of strangers, and had only been adopted yesterday. He escaped from the garden about 20 minutes after they got home by jumping a high wall. He was seen yesterday evening apparently happily exploring. Seen again this morning around the same area by the milkman and the owners, but moved on wehn called.
All relevant authorities informed. He is wearing a red collar and a black harness. It is believed the collar has a tag on it relating to the previous owner which will be an out-of-area address, so please contact via DogLost contact details. PetLog have been updated and informed.
As he is shy, it is probably preferable that attempts aren't made to catch him, but to contact owners please.
