Very sad to read this. I only knew that Timmy was missing yesterday as TK had told me she was searching and postering. Alerts didn't come out as far as TN31. Everyone tried so hard to bring him home safely. RIP Timmy xx

I didn't know who it was earlier, but there was a local lady helping look for Timmy. I know now that it was Sharon who had her dog Lola stolen last year .. so thank you to her for helping search. Sorry that you had to be the one to find Timmy like that.

Have spoken to owners and they are doing postering and lots of people searching. Info going out on Bexhill Police Fbk page.
Riverlady .. any chance of a few tweets if possible pretty please??

>>VERY IMPORTANT If you see Timmy PLEASE DO NOT run after him or go near the tracks .. we do not want any accidents or to chase him into danger. It is obviously extremely dangerous and it is also an offence.

At the moment Timmy has only been seen on the beach side of the railway so we do not want him to cross the lines. Thanks to all who are searching and helping the family. Last edited: 2014-05-21 18:16:33 by Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex

My apologies for not posting on here before, but I have been very unwell since last week.
I have tried to ring Timmy's owners but lines been busy. Will keep trying.
>> Thanks TK .. that's great work. Posters definitely need to go up all over the area .. one place in particular that would be good is the cafe next to the entrance to car park at Glyne Gap. They are dog friendly and everyone goes past there when going to and from the beach. Glad you managed to let the railway workers know too. Posters need to go to the De La Warr pavilion, in their cafe etc as great view of beach from up there. However, I think Timmy is likely to be hiding up somewhere in daytime so may be difficult to spot him unless looking in nooks and crannies. He will also be getting hungry and thirsty so again may go near to the cafe or places along the seafront that sell food. Best times to search would be dawn and dusk when it's quieter.
Bumping page as sighted yesterday morning.Last edited: 2014-05-21 17:26:40 by Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex

Just got back, Parked up near old stamco building, walked along cycle path & up & over galley hill.. Had a good view of railway track... on return journey spotted some rail workmen up on track near bridge cafe, asked them if they were aware & if any further sightings, they are said they had just walked from Collington to Glyne Gap along the tracks & seen nothing, they were keeping their eyes peeled & were going to be heading along st leonards way next & would keep looking.. I had a drive around, Bulverhythe rd, Cliftonville rd, up passed West St Leonards station & around back of Poundstretcher where old MFI used to be.. Would be good to get some posters up, they can be printed off from DogLost webpage, unfortunately I didn't take any with me, but to poster that area so more people are aware would be good... stay safe & hope you are found soon Timmy x

Have just seen a link on Bexhill police fb page, Timmy was seen still near railway tracks this morning, by Galley Hill.... have asked my neighbour to keep a look out this evening when they go down that way to clean trains, in case he is hiding near train sheds, also hubby has just taken our dog for a walk down beach by Bexhill road, armed with food & spare lead... I will go down & have a look around tomorrow morning, if Timmynot found by then ... praying he stays safe x
TK - Area Volunteer, East Sussex
Any news ...? Do we have any idea which direction, or area he was last seen in ...? Can help look fir him tomorrow, just wondering what area to focus on ...
