We can confirm this Border Collie is little Heidi (she is not registered on doglost)who has been lost since Nov 2013. We have been in contact with her owner who had only had her for a few days when she run away. Heidi was a very nervous shy girl. Her owner has agreed for Heidi now named Indi to stay with Morgan's Dog Rescue who kindly offered this girl a place if we caught her. Indi has settled well today and is now snug on a quilt after a good feed. We are all so happy we have getting the best possible outcome for Indi. She will receive any vet treatment she needs and all her vaccs etc. Morgan's will find her the best possible home to suit her. Once again thank you to everyone who has helped save this little dog who will now have the life she deserves xx

This little Border Collie has been caught and is now safe. We did not need to use the trap. Rob who had been feeing her gained her trust and she come to him for cuddles and strokes. I will update more later today.

I have commented on FB Dog Theft Awareness page and hopefully we can get up there soon to get this poor dog caught and safe. Brilliant that the dog is being fed daily.

Can Basil ...doglost coordinator please see comments on our page and give VT some advice please xx

VT ........I have spoken to the man who initially alerted people about his dog. The dog is being fed daily and I am going to meet with him tomorrow. It sounds as though this dog is very frightened and any change in activity could make it stray further away. Has anyone got any experience of catching a dog like this. Or anyone to contact for advice?

Could this possibly be Pip - 62137 - lost from the north east late December? These dogs are well known survivors (Eva, lost for 5 months in 2010). Worth a try xx

I hope the gentleman who has seen this dog at the woods may be help and any updates would be very welcome, just incase, it is the lovely Amy/Lost ref 60720/Black Flatcoated Retriever. Amy was attacked and last seen at woods in Wiltshire - now presumed stolen but not beyond the possibility relocated? A few weeks is a long time to be out there so hope you can catch this particular dog and he/she is taken care. Thank you for posting.
