Brilliant news and what a wonderful kind person the lady who found them is.
Thank goodness it was her who found the dogs originally and not someone else who might have just handed them in not realising the plight they would be in.

The lady that rescued these dogs has kept the thin emaciated pup and her son is the new owner. He will be moving into his own home in about a month. The male was rehomed. My partner and i travelled from Norwich to Leeds Friday eve to collect the female and we have homed her. Thank you to Bernadette for her massive generosity and assistance with this and to Karen for saving the dogs lives. Fingers crossed all 3 are now in their forever homes x

This message has come in:
The finder could not cope with the idea that they were
being pts tomorrow, so she she went back
to Flushdyke kennels to pick up the dogs to see if she could find homes
or foster homes herself for them.
While she was there, she saw a small emanciated staffi of around 8
months old that was being put to sleep tomorrow too.
This lovely lady, who has numerous rescue dogs of her own, took this
little dog too, to save her life. All three dogs went home with her this
evening.
I dont know how to post on your doglost page, but would it be possible
for you to put a post on to ask all doglost members
to share about these dogs on their face book pages, or contact anyone
they know about fostering these dogs, especially
the thin baby staffi. Many thanks for your help with this matter, it
would be wonderful to be able to help this lovely lady.

I've just received an email via gumtree from the finder. The pound got it wrong. They've taken the dogs out of the pound as they would have been put to sleep tomorrow. The finder cannot keep them as their dogs aren't compatible so they are still looking for a home for these two - or a rescue who have a no destruct policy. :(

GOOD NEWS - I just spoke to Flushdyke kennels directly (who have these 2 with them) and these 2 are being taken home by the finder today. The kennels are very relieved.

For anyone who doesn't know THERE ARE FREE MICROCHIPPING events hosted by local councils, neighbourhood police teams, Dogs Trust and various other charities - please look for info - plenty online if you need your dog chipped and cannot afford the fee to do so x

On "animalwardens" lost and found site, Lost Chaos BD12 16/3, black and white male staffy, neutered, wearing a black harness, tel 07762 076898. Perhaps could be white and black, I think it's a private advertiser not a dog warden post but missing since March. That's all I could find within a 10 mile radius, LS16 to BD12 9.7 miles.
