thanks everybody we are over joyed considering i barely slept for the 3 days he was missing, tonight hes home safe and well and i cant sleep through sheer excitement cant stop looking at him hasnt sunk in that hes actually back my children have actually shared a double bed tonight with harley sleeping in the middle of them its so cute ( il upload picture today) just cant believe hes home and i have to say hes been spoilt rotten including a take away of southern fried chicken lol i really was beginning to think will we ever see him again, we are thoroughly delighted xxxxxxx

Brilliant news that you have Harley home! I bet you'll all sleep well tonight. It's such a shame that the police didn't take your complaints seriously. When my dog was stolen they had good reason to get a search warrant for the house and they found enough stolen goods, cannabis and ecstasy and wads of cash to make a really good case against the bloke. The nasty piece of work is now doing time at her majesty's pleasure - but not for stealing my dog which didn't even make the charge sheet in the end! He too had put a black leather collar with studs on my dog... looked so ridiculous!

i would also like to say to anyone that has lost there pet and are reading this page looking for hope there is lots of it from this site, due to there advice, investigating skills, time and patience endlessly posting and tweeting and raising awareness on here, twitter and fbk they made my dog so hot to handle the men knew they had no chance when i told the man to look at my fbk wall at how determined i was to find my dog he knew he couldnt keep him nobody could except me. These guys do an amazing job and really take there advise they no there stuff any pet that goes missing i would make it so hot to handle no one will keep your pet and these guys will make it hot for you in the work they do. i truly cant thank your team enough i am so pleased to have harley home i saw the facebook tension involving the man and my daughter but to be fair for dog theft he got off lightly with a facebook grilling, shame on the police i say !!!!! many thanks to u all much love xxxxxxxxx

hi all just wanted to say a massive thankyou to you all for all your help and support, i truly did not believe deep down i would get Harley back. After a trying day hes here tucked up in bed watching nanny mcphee lol todays events were hard work il try and explain i decided yesterday to call the police it didnt sit right what the man had done and really my gut feeling was that he had Harley, the community officers came to c me and were great said they were going to c him and check cctv on the main road i thought this is great news, then i recieved a call from the station sergeant basically saying it was a waste of police resources and he didnt think the man had Harley, it got quite heated the convo and i told him i was recordin the convo and would go to the newspaper saying dog crime was a waste of resources he caved in and sent the police round they also phoned him 4 times when he didnt answer at his house, they asked could they go and check the house, suddenly i get a fbk friend request from him, meanwhile miss marple was working her magic and digging up info to help me, we discovered he was using a false name etc, i argued back n forth on fbk with him in private message and said enuff i no u have my dog or are involved withhis dissappearance on top of all your other lies that i reported to the police im going to inform them u r using a false name, i then blocked him on fbk within less than 2 mins my mobile rang it was a guy saying my dog had followed him home from town and he has Harley. i went straight over to get him they had said on the phone they had Harley for about half an hour funny that as he then said he bought him a collar and lead, Harley also had a bandana on covering his distinguishing mole. He had had plenty of walks and eat well amazingly all in the 30 minutes they had harley no way !!!!!!! they lived 2 minutes away from the guy that was originally involved. Rather amazing coincidence. The guy who originally found harley then lost him my daughter saw coming out of the house as we were driving off, she recognised his pic from facebook, he is a compulsive liar and whether he kepy Harley for himself or gave to his friends he was certainly involved.

Yes Debbie...Let owner and our Miss Marples update shortly....I don't do FB...but believe this dog was made too hot to handle and a lot of lies were told...but the result is Harley is back...watch this space!

hi wendy possibly yes Harley didnt have a collar but if a new owner has taken him in possibly they put a collar on him but certainly sounds a lot like harley il have to et posting on fbk in the splott area typical warden grrrrrr thankyou for your efforts if you see the dog again Harley has a raised black mole on his front left leg/shoulder please grab him for me hes very soft and friendly x

There was an unaccompanied tan Staffie in Moorland Park, Splott at about 10 on Thursday morning. He was unneutered, had white on his chest, darker ears, a brown leather collar with studs. I called the Dog Warden who was going to collect after other pick-ups. I said I would take my dogs home and come and collect him to take to the pound. However, he was gone by the time I got back 10 minutes later. Could this have been him?

hi all sorry for my delay in posting here really i just dont understand i have plastered him all over the internet so many facebook posts etc and he has completely vanished into thin air, 30 mins after we discovered harley was missing according to the warden a man and his gf found my dog they took him home and called the dog warden they say they kept him overnight then in the morning they let him out and he ran off, the warden called at the house to collect him and they didnt answer the door, the warden telephoned them all day they didnt answer then at 7pm he spoke to the warden and said the dog had run off, the story i managed to get his number from the warden and called him we wouldnt answer any calls or texts, i text him sayin i was calling the police and he called me bk 1 minute kater on my mobile not the landline that i left or called from, i had posted leaflets through every door in the street i asked how did he get my number he said his friend gave him the poster !!! a neighbour saw him on his front door with the dog, he said he had photos of the dog on his settee, i asked him to send them to me he said he would , he hasnt and now he wont answer my calss or texts, he was the last person to see the dog and since then nobody in cardiff has seen him, my daughter has special needs harley is her best friend shes hysterical i need the dog back
