I have found it by searching the area and not using the ref no...doesn't look very whippet like, but as you say it's a bad pic and I think it would be hard to id any dog from it! I have not heard back from owner, but I sent her the link...so hopefully they have checked xx

Ravenette I think there are Gremlins on that site I couldn't find dog using the search box. so I did big search from 24/5 50miles london. bought record up quoted different no. so searched on that and got message no record found. Left site and tried again and record was there. Thanks for looking anyway. xx

Could somebody look at www.animalsearchuk. ref AFP 185816 found 24/5 please. Black dog that appears to have a long nose, not a very good photo, to see if it could possibly be Oskar. Found Stevenage area, beside a road the day after Oskar was stolen. Thanks

Please check with all dog wardens,vets and kennels in the surrounding area...well as wide an area as possible, the thieves might have dumped Oskar and he could have been handed in... as he isn't chipped they won't be able to contact you. All paws and fingers crossed that you find your lovely boy very soon xx

Ask the Met Police to put Oskar on their facebook page. They did this for Cookie and even a kitten and found both. Thousands read the Met Police facebook page. You can contact them via the page or call them. Good Luck xxx

Fad, you need to clear the first photo and then re add the second. But you already made it work when you changed them previously, so you did it right. You may simply need to click the refresh or reload button and the photos will change. If you still have problems, please call Admin on the 0844 800 3220. Do you have the crime number from police? Can you give it to us as well as the name of the police person dealing with this? Thank you.

I have updated poster to say large reward but remember genuine people don't usually claim a reward, but it may well help other people to give him up or assist in finding him. You can always a barter an amount later, if required. Well done. Remember do NOT give money unless your dog is actually in front of you, as sometimes people play tricks. It really is possible to find Oskar - it has happened before with burglaries. Can anyone help owner with posters - you can see they are struggling as computers were stolen as well as poor Oskar. Owner, maybe print one or two from computer and then photocopy the others even in black & white because photocopies tend to last even in the rain without any covering. See if a printing shop will help you and give you a deal on the price). The important thing is to get word out and black and white is fine. Call the newspapers - they should publish your story which will help a lot. x

Hello everyone! Thank you so much for your kind words and help. We are trying to get posters made but as our laptops were taken during the break in we are finding this difficult at the moment. Going to someone's house now to borrow a laptop. I will upload so more pictures now too so you can see what he looks like better. He is very beautiful and always gets lots of attention out an about, he's relatively small and has white on his rear feet and stomach. Thank you again for your support. I will pay 700 for his safe return. I don't care about anything else that was taken, I just want him to be okay!

Could someone take a look on Gumtree there is a black dog for sale in Croydon. Greyhound cross,has some white on chest. Looks too big for oskar, but oskars picture is not a posed shot so can't tell if any white. Sorry if not him but worth a look.

Oh gosh! Poor dog and owners! Okay, you CAN get Oskar back but you need to work at it. Poster everywhere you can and make her too hot to handle! Can we have helpers checking sale sites please, just in case. Owners, get a crime number and let us know. Tell the press as this would make a story and the more publicity you can get, the better. Call local radio and ask for a bulletin to go out. Do you have another, brighter photo of Oskar on his own that we can use for the poster? Let's make this baby too hot and get him home! x
