Was so pleased to get the message he was safe and well, well done Trish for persevering and following up on the breaking twig we heard. That roundabout was so dense, I hope Gino's nettle rash is not too bad. Yes he was a big boy. Irenya, I hope you can now recover from your time in Warwick and thank you for your commitment on finding him.
Angel
So pleased this little man's been found safe. He's the biggest Chinese Crested I've ever seen photos of!

Hi everyone, sorry for the delay in getting on here.

Gino is now safely home after spending the afternoon, with Iryna, at my home with myself and Tink and Louise (who worked tirelessly for this result) and Cady (her dog).
The vet has checked him over and found nothing more than a rash (presumed from the nettles) a sticky eye and possibly an upset tummy. Medication to treat these issues was prescribed and he should be feeling back to normal again very soon. He drank loads and was given a light lunch of scrambled eggs before spending the afternoon socialising with the other dogs and then crashing out in his crate. A full report and photos can be found on FB page "HELP FIND ELVIS THE TRAIL HOUND". Thanks to all at Doglost for their support and words of wisdom. Your help and encouragement was much appreciated <3

Been worrying about this little chap too, just as Ellie says so many factors making it worse. Warm bath and lots of soothing cream for the rash. What a start to a new life. No more adventures on your own Gino stay close to your new family who love you x
DogLostOwl
Gino had been hiding out in the thickly wooded area in the centre of the roundabout, using it as his base. Both Wispa and Tiga had found trails going along separate circuits which always ended up back at the intersection, so we suspected this might be the case. The area had been searched but he was not there at the time. Then Trisha went back this morning and found him there.

Great news!
Ellie
I was so delighted to move Gino into reunited, I couldn't wait! He has been taken straight to the vet but apart from nettle rash and being dehydrated, he seems ok. Trisha will update us further when she gets her breath!
I was so worried about him, the dangerous area of traffic he was in, a lead attached, his breed type and non stop heavy rain was not helping. Well done everyone and enjoy your life with your new family Gino.

JD I really like the idea of routinely cooking. Did you leave the food that you'd cooked behind each time?

Wishing you all the luck in the world for search tonight. Sorry I can't be there. Just to let the lady know who rang Dunsmore Kennels today, I am the owner and we are also the pound so any sightings I will pass on immediately. It took us a week to catch a spaniel once, just repeating cooking food at exactly the same time each day - on the last day he was actually waiting for us. Please don't give up hope xx
Shelagh
Too far away to help with search, but sending positive vibes . Really hope you find this little guy. Go team Gino
Ellie

Hi Goldenfrodo, he is microchipped but I've been waiting for the number. This is now updated and GINO is believed to have gone to ground ON Longbridge island in a wooded area on the Stratford side of the M40. Search continues but it is extremely overgrown. This poor boy is going to be red raw with nettle rash by now :(
Goldenfrodo
Hope Gino is found safely very soon. If you got him from a Rescue, he should be microchipped so if anybody picks him up and hands him into a vet etc, hopefully he will be scanned by them.

I'll post him on the Rescue Helpers Reunited forum as we have lots of members on there.

Thanks Wensmum. All help appreciated hun. We were remembering Lizzy last night x

Will do Ellie. I'm utilising the facebook page that I set up for Elvis the Trail Hound and we've had well over 3000 views just this evening. I'm just sitting emailing his poster out but I can't find the link to the Vet list. Any ideas please?
Ellie
Thanks Trisha, if there are any other Facebook pages that you feel beneficial please do as this is a new area for me to cover
