I have spoken to the Kennel and it has short legs and no evidence of a cherry eye so it doesn't sound like our Juno.

Hi just seen a dog posted on Facebook by medway council at jasmil kennels that looks like juno. Does anyone have anymore info? I've left a message but presumably they are closed now until tomorrow. Juno's owner- fingers crossed

Hi keep your fingers crossed for us. Pets located have just emailed that a dog that sounds like Juno was found tied to a post in reading. You never know. It could be our own little xmas miracle !

Sorry to be silent for so long. I have called 12 councils around the area. Most said they would check her details against found dogs and register her as lost if she isn't already showing up. A couple I had to email so will chase for a response. All very pleasant and helpful. Also animalwardens.co.uk were showing a found bichon so they were going to track down the finder and see if there was possibly a match.

Thank you so much for your post. Highways and railways have been contacted. An animal was found on the train track but a vet felt it unlikely to be Juno. We were away on holiday and the dog walker simply says that one minute she was near her and the next she was gone. She had wonderful recall so would have returned if called quickly and was able. That is all we know. I did put posters up at ally pally tube station and wardens and kennels were contacted. It has been so long now it just feels impossible. Lucille

How did she go missing, exactly? Do you know? I have emailed you advice but am without details of your local area. If anyone else can fill you in on rescues/kennels. dog wardens that would help. I have sent a list of all dog wardens but sometimes they interact. I believe there is a rail track running at the edge of the park and has been accessible to dogs in the past. Gates have been left open or possibly access through fence? So, I'd like you to speak to the station people and ask them to have a look just to rule this out, that's all. Also call Network Rail and log missing dog at that location. If they see one, someone should notify you - but the emphasis is on "should". Then, you also need to check with Highways for your area and the local cleansing dept of your council as well. So both major and minor roads have been made aware. You will need to ask if they have seen or found a dog, again to rule it out. Rail and road do NOT scan animals they find (ridiculous but factual for most areas) so owners have to call them to keep asking. If there is any water around you need to check and find the people responsible so they check with/for you. I do think the post about youngsters with a dog is highly possible, so you have done everything right. Well done indeed and hang in there. Very often the clues are at the place the dog was lost and very often, eventually, things will come to light. Keep going. Come on sweetheart, where are you little Juno? x

Posters make dogs too hot to handle. Have you asked Crysta Palace if they can put up a couple? Also, check the station. Taxi drivers - hand them to them. Little leafleys they can keep in their cabs to check. Emailing you with advice. x

The dog that was involved in the rta was estimated to be 10 - I don't think we know a colour but hopefully this won't have been Juno who is about 3.5 thanks for the info though, very sad.

Thank you we will see what we can find out about the rta hopefully it's not her. In the meantime I spotted a dog in a picture being rescued from manchester dogs home that looks very like her. If anyone has any ideas of how to be I touch with them please let me know. Lucille (owner)

A dog has been reported on Alfieslostdogs found/sited FB page which was cross posted from RSPCA Havering Branch notifying of a female poodle cross that was sadly killed in an RTA in the last couple of days. It doesn't mention the colour of the dog but as this is only about 17 miles from the area Juno is missing from, is it worth a check. It does say not chipped but as we know chips don't always work and details aren't always correct. Hope this isnt Juno but someone will be looking for their beloved dog.

Still no news at all according to the owners. Alexandra Palace says we can't put up any more posters in the park itself, which is a shame but we've had a good run at it up to now in the park and local streets. After all this time with no news despite the poster campaign it perhaps means she's been stolen rather than kept innocently by someone local so its good that the owners have advertised online everywhere. We do need a breakthrough though!

I came across 3 people who knew Juno! Yes it would be good if you could ask Doglost to put her as Poodle or Poodle cross here, then you have Bichon on the other page so would help people searching Found Dogs. Also you could ask to show that there is a Reward on both pages.

Of course if you have concerns about posters going up, I will stop. However personally I think its the best way to find a missing dog. The more people who see posters (obviously her photo is very cute and people seem to love her name), the more they keep an eye out and talk about her. It would be very hard for someone to keep a dog hidden, especially younger people, and if someone has her they will hopefully see the posters and know she has become too hot to handle. Then the reward might be attractive to them or else tempt someone who has seen her or who knows who has her come forward. I was helping an owner of a stolen dog who was extremely anxious about posters for exactly the same reason as you, but its the only way to get word out there, otherwise how do you do it? Not everyone is on social media. If anyone was suspicious about the dog they would have no-one to call. In that other case, sure enough after a while the dog was returned, by someone calling the number on the poster to say he thought he had the lost dog. So I would say go for it and every time there is a potential sighting, stick loads of posters up in the area of the sighting. That should lead to more people reporting sightings and we can see what areas she is visiting. Best wishes

Hello I saw this advert on twitter and live in crouch end. Last night when I was driving home I saw lots of teenagers standing around on inderwick road talking maybe fifteen of them young teenagers and I was struck that they had a little white dog that looks a lot like Juno with them it had a collar on a a pink lead and two boys were saying can I hold it no can I hold it and I thought this seems strange like it's not there dog but the dog looked healthy and was wagging it's tail. Then this morning I saw the poster for yor missing dog in my inbox and thought his maybe be Juno it may not but it's better you know it. Maybe take a walk down there it was about seven when I was there they were just by the shops on Weston park where it meets inderwick where the sweet shop is and yoga junction. I hope this is of use for you.

Hi, I went to downhills park and the park across the road. Put up a few posters - met a dog walker that had put up some already over the weeks (amazing) and met a man that walks 3 bichons- all who look similar to Juno and I do wonder if this might have been the sighting. Thanks lucille (owner)

Put up 40 posters in Queens wood, highgate wood, parkland walk north section and muswell hill. Many posters had been ripped down on main roads replaced what I could of those. Time for a sighting now.

the owners have done really well posting on every online site, Juno is all over the internet. Some of those postings mention other possible sightings near Muswell Hill Broadway: Princes Ave and Church Crescent N10, but probably all these are from a while back.

Ok, put up about 40 posters round the Blake/Cline Roads area. Also saw a poster by the owners saying there had been a possible sighting on 12 June in Durnsford Park. I couldn't find that park, but maybe its Albert Road recreation ground which is on Durnsford Road, really close to Blake Rd. Sounds like she is moving around in a circle (would be good to know where her home is) so we need to keep up the postering and get a new sighting

I have put up 100 posters, but we need many more. I came across a poster saying there was a sighting on the same day as Juno was lost, this time around Muswell Hill Broadway so that's something to go on, plus a man told me he saw a dog like this some weeks back on its own running into the woods between Blake Road and Cline Road which is near Muswell Hill Golf Club so I will put posters up there in case someone from the housing round there has taken her in

Dear Doglost, I saw Juno's poster in vet today for the first time but don't think i had notification from Doglost: maybe because poster says N22 but some parts of Alexandra Palace seem to be N10 which might reach a wider doglost audience. Is there any chance of emailing people again on the basis of an N10 postcode? Dear Owners have you put up posters far and wide? Its good her details are all over the internet but posters are amazingly powerful. I was helping a lost dog near Alexandra Palace and flooded the area with over 300 posters. Soon everyone around knew of the lost dog and someone who had taken her in then contacted the owner. Please are there any more details of where she was lost from? e.g. the nearest road name? I can help you put posters up but it really helps to know exactly where the focus is. Thanks
