I have spoken to the Kennel and it has short legs and no evidence of a cherry eye so it doesn't sound like our Juno.
NickMorris
Hi just seen a dog posted on Facebook by medway council at jasmil kennels that looks like juno. Does anyone have anymore info? I've left a message but presumably they are closed now until tomorrow. Juno's owner- fingers crossed

There was a male bichon Leo from the Manchester Dogs Home who is in the news so I would have a look at him first to see if thats the dog you spotted. If not, they are saying that most dogs from MDH went to their sister site at Cheshire Dogs Home which is 0844 504 1212
NickMorris
There is a picture of a rescuer in what looks like surgical scrubs rescuing a dog from manchester dogs home that looks very like Juno. Does anyone have any ideas of how to get in touch and track it down? I have emailed the home but I'm sure they are understandably busy.
NickMorris
Thank you so much Happiness I have left a message and will email. If it is her age looks very well looked after- less tear stains than I managed. Lucille

The best we can do is put up posters in the area where there are possible sightings, and there are posters already in the area of the lake/cafe. People on the street are quite aware of her and a couple of people with fluffy white dogs are reporting being stopped in the street by children asking if their dog is Juno, so hopefully you have many eyes looking out for you, which is great because you can't be everywhere yourselves. If she's in the area someone will see her as long as we keep the postering up - I have now replaced some of the rain-damaged doglost posters that I first put up in a rush with no plastic covering. The nice guy will see the generic posters so probably not worth trying to aim some at him specifically.
NickMorris
Thank you so much for your posters cs. As well as keeping an eye out for the young people in crouch end as your local could you keep a look out for a reportedly lovely young guy who was really happy about his purchase on line of a dog about a week
Ago who had a cup of tea at the alexander palace boat lake cafe. He was chatting to an older couple who then went for a walk in highgate woods and saw the posters. They phoned me as this new dog apparently looked a lot like Juno. I have been trying to spot him in the hope that he went back to the cafe but no luck yet. I may write a special poster for him??? Thoughts?? There was a dog for sake in finsbury park that nick went to check out, it wasn't Juno and was legitimate and I wonder if he bought this one? Would just be good to know.
cs
I have put some more posters up today: southern section of the Parkland Walk and around Highgate, Muswell Hill Golf Club and around there. Met lots of lovely people keen to help and gave them posters to put up

Just. Note to add that she is a bichon poodle cross - just in case, she's very bichony though.
NickMorris
Thanks we did message through gumtree but had not had a response.

The ad posted by Happiness is a Gumtree ad - link is here although does say that dog has been reunited now. Just thought I would let you know in case you are still wondering about it.

Hi- I just received this text- please could people in the area look out, we will obviously go down there this evening.
Hello I saw this advert on twitter and live in crouch end. Last night when I was driving home I saw lots of teenagers standing around on inderwick road talking maybe fifteen of them young teenagers and I was struck that they had a little white dog that looks a lot like Juno with them it had a collar on a a pink lead and two boys were saying can I hold it no can I hold it and I thought this seems strange like it's not there dog but the dog looked healthy and was wagging it's tail. Then this morning I saw the poster for yor missing dog in my inbox and thought his maybe be Juno it may not but it's better you know it. Maybe take a walk down there it was about seven when I was there they were just by the shops on Weston park where it meets inderwick where the sweet shop is and yoga junction. I hope this is of use for you.

Sorry to see that JUNO is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (69580)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
  • DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
