- Oh I am so, so relieved you have your Charlie home....what a wonderful community spirited finder ...,so vigilant. Well done for following through the prep....it certainly paid off! Sadly there are those who lack compassion and don't understand the love of owning a dog (or anything for that matter)....they are motivated by greed (my polite explanation!!). Welcome home Charlie....stay safe and close gorgeous boy xx

- email from owner in admin..
I registered my dog Charlie on your website at around 12.30 today and was reunited with him 3 hours later.
Luckily I had the sense not to just go looking for him first (my partner was looking for him) and I registered on your website along with the following organisations: -
- Battersea Dogs Home Tel. 020 7627 9245
- Local Council dog warden
- The Police – Tel. 101
- The Microchip company & double checked that they have all correct telephone / address information.
- Vet
- RSPCA
I was contacted by a lady who found him at Streatham Hill Station. He had a blue nylon rope tied around his neck and had been put over a gate onto the railway sidings. She said he was very distressed trying to dig himself out under a gate. She went to a member of the station staff and they opened the gate.
She took him home and asked her daughter to go on the www.doglost.co.uk website and there he was at the top of the page.
The funfair is in Brockwell Park and I don’t wish to point fingers but the fact that he had an old blue rope round his neck leads me to believe that perhaps he was taken by a member of the funfair. He is a very handsome Jack Russell and perhaps they thought they could breed him and then realised he had been neutered, who knows!
Anyway I cannot thank you enough for helping me find my dog.
In appreciation I have donated £100 today to your organisation and I shall be donating every month.
All the best,
Patricia
