- Have just had email back saying "Puddle appeared on our drive way last night. He seems to be better at finding his way home than I ever gave him credit for. Your advise has been fascinating to read and I will definitely keep it in mind if we are in the same situation in the future"
Hopefully Puddle will stay close to home now .. but I have suggested that it would be a good idea for him to get a microchip.

- Not really my area but wanted to make sure Sara had some advice as soon as possible. I've sent an email suggesting that owner goes to place that Puddle was last seen as most dogs will go back to the place from where they went missing. Advised owner to have a BBQ to attract her back to the area and also to leave Puddle's bedding or/and clothes there in a box with smelly food. Hopefully Puddle will follow her own scent back to that place. Good luck.
