Have hopefully uploaded a new pic of him at the bottom showing his health :) Thank you SO MUCH for the kind donations. He is starting his injections this week now his course of antibiotics have ended.

He is doing amazingly well. Really lovely friendly boy. Not yet interested in balls as he has found a new love in his life....humans. We are everything to him. He has gained almost 4Kg and has been reduced to 2 normal feeds a day. His skin is clear, coat is shiny and he looks fab! You can follow him on Twitter @pdrescue - I just posted an update pic of him. His eyes say it all....LOVE!

Well there is no surprise really that an owner has not come forward for "Bobby". He has had two checks at the vets this week - he weighed in at 12.8Kg on Saturday. He is very nervous and terrified of doorways (surprisingly this has happened a lot recently) so getting him in and out of the vets has been challenging! He has met loads of volunteers this week and they all can't believe how a dog can forgive us humans their crimes....he just loves cuddles. He has now been transferred into the rescue block and is receiving antibiotics for skin problems and rehabilitation. I don't think it will be very long before he is ready to go into a home environment but we won't rush him. Thank you all so much for your love of animals, it goes a long way to restore my own faith in the human race. The one in Birmingham looks to have white on front left paw? Can't be sure.

Thanks Sophiesuds, but the poor boy here has some white under his chin as well as on chest and the other one doesn't have white under chin. I can see why you suggested it though and it is always worth checking and double checking - thank you very much

Could this dog be 51285 as has similar markings, but not too sure if he's the right age? Says dog that's missing would be for now but looks very similar and head shape the same.

So sorry to see this. Bobby I am sure will soon learn that all humans are not all like the scum who ill treated, and starved him. Sending Bobby loads of love, and cuddles for his recovery. Will donate towards his care if needed. In time when he is better I am certain he will find a lovely new home where he will be spoilt rotten. As for the low life who treated him thus: what goes around, comes around. Enjoy some lovely food now Bobby, and look forward to yojur future; am sure it will be a great one. We are all rooting for you. Keep us posted.

"Bobby" as we have named him is going to the vets today for a weigh in and check over. We have him on 4 feeds a day so hoping his appearance improves whilst he is serving his seven days at pound. I doubt an owner will come forward for him as we believe he has either escaped a bad situation or has been abandoned. Leaving here for now in case he is a long time stray.

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
Please check on our Missing pages in case the Found dog has been registered as missing with us.
If possible please add a photo as this greatly assists our work in matching Found dogs with Missing dogs.
