- Any updates? I haven't seen any posters up in the area at all. The Travellers are in the process of being moved on, and most already have been moved on. I am pretty sure they aren't responsible. But anyway - just thought I'd check for updates.

- If you are worried about goint into a traveller site speak to the local Council, they should have a traveller liaison officer and they will help.

- Thank you Sonia your advice is helpful, I'll make sure I do all these things I'm off work now till Monday so I can make it my priority to put the posters and things up, the dog warden also has my number just Incase, I might ask my boyfriend to go over to the arena area with me tomorrow when it's light so we can have a look around xx

- They are in the car park, but don't feel intimidated. Travellers mess up the area they live in, and they have a reputation, but their rule, on the whole is - you don't give them trouble, and they won't trouble you. They have more on their hands - like finding their next location. The less they cause trouble, the better for them staying put. Just be aware of your surroundings, and be sensible when you go. I can't for a moment think they picked her up - but it's a base I'd want to cover in your position. You can also join the Feltham Arenas Resident's User Group on Facebook - which is where I saw a link to your post. - update that regularly too, as well as here. Also - you might want to put a poster up in Bedfont Lakes Dog Park too. If someone has her, then they will need to walk her somewhere. I know it's a cost - but you honestly cannot poster up enough in the area. Someone will have seen her at some point. Get the word out - oh and drop a poster into Vets R Us near the Airman Pub, and also to Willet House Vets, as they have several branches over the area, including in Feltham. Get to the Police every day too, and tell local postmen and women to keep an eye out. The more ground work you can do - the better. Talk to everyone you can in the Arenas parklands, and Feltham park. The more people who know - the more people may spot her. You can also check Gumtree London every day, in case someone is trying to pass her on. I don't say that because I feel she was stolen, just so you know. I'm still following this thread with interest, and hoping she is home with you soon. All the best. Sonia

- I was told there we're travellers over there I live literally just round the corner from there, but if someone has heard her barking in the back garden and she sounds like a small dog someone has probs just gone through the back gate and picked her up, I will have a walk over there but will feel quite intimidated by them if they are in the car park, I just feel sorry for my daughter as she loved that little dog, I've got my mum to print off posters and she's down this way tomorrow so I'll get them off her and put them up, thanks everyone for your help it's just such a shame that she's missing I'm gutted! If people know how expensive them type of dogs are too I don't think they would hesitate to take her : (

- Some great advice Sonia....Also make sure you obtain a CRN...Mimi is unlikely to be lost now but taken and it is a crime to take what is not yours. Also listen for her which you can do from a distance but agree.... don't confront just observe...follow your instincts and call the Police if you have any vibes ....we are all still searching in our own ways and hope she's home safe soon xx

- I hate posting this - as I am sure they are innocent - but a group of Travellers have taken over the Feltham Arenas old carpark for the last 20 days. I don't think they would bother with stealing a Chi - but it might be worth just taking a walk around the area (go with a friend, and just walk through the carpark - lots of people have done, without trouble from them) and keep your eyes open. IF you should see anything - call the police - don't confront people, as it isn't worth the trouble, and the Police will go there. Also - go to Feltham Police Station in person and ask and show pictures. They are very bad with knowing what is sitting in their kennels. A friend had a dog in there, and was told she wasn't with them - the next day, she found her dog had been taken to Battersea, and was indeed sitting in their kennels when she had gone in! :( Poster around the Feltham Park, and Feltham Arena parks - you can get there via Helen Avenue, or Shakespeare Avenue. The Travellers are at the Shakespeare Avenue end.
You can also contact: http://www.getwestlondon.co.uk they helped a family in lower feltham get their puppy back by running a story online.
Don't forget to get the Microchip details changed to your own soon - and alert the Chip company that she is missing - so if she is scanned, she will flag up as such.
I will keep my eyes open, and hope you get your little girl home soon. - 2014-06-03 10:21 Kat366
- No news yet, still missing : ( I've rang all the vets in my area I've rang the local council, dog warden even the police, RSPCA and no one has seen or heard anything, I found out that she is microchipped but I got her off my ex partners mum so if need to get the microchip number off her if she still has it, I've done posters but with no luck , I move out of my house in a couple of days too so don't want to leave without her., I've had her for roughly about a year I would say maybe abit more

- Sorry to see that MIMI is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (69707)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
- Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
- DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
