- Dogs Trust are very good at rehabilitation and Debs thank you for getting her and not letting her go to others less able to help her!!
I hope the lost one and the found one are the same girl x - 2014-06-09 20:06 Kimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders
- Debs, I am going to forward this email to you shortly to check and contact owners of this dog if need be to see if it could be this one.
Yes, Dogs Trust will not PTS any dog, even aggressive ones, unless it is for the health of the dog. And fear aggression can be cured and they have the best to do that. I would like to say the person who got this dog away from the youths is fantastic! Well done indeed. x - 2014-06-09 19:58 Kimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders
- I've received a photo of a similar dog and yes, it may be as there is a likeness. I don't know which one of you sent it because your name is different, but thank you! Working on it to see if is could be the same one. Hang on and I'll come back.

- Debs there was a dog on the tweetathon that looked a lot like this little girl. Will try and find out if that one is added here and a better picture too x

- Debs so glad to read that. Will ask around too wit the folk I know and will keep everything crossed there is space/back up for her soon.
Well done to you and the foster person x - 2014-06-05 06:54 Debs
- Seeks this has been the plan from the beginning. I have contacted a few good rescue friends to try and get rescue back up. The lady who is fostering is an experienced foster and is happy to keep her there but this dog really needs rescue back up. All help on that front greatly received. My number is 07863 253627 if anyone is able to liaise on that front. Dog warden is aware and of course there is not an issue with this dog being in foster. It is 28 days before sign over can take place but to secure this dogs fate as best possible I'd be much happier if she did have rescue back up in place

- She wont have a hope with some rescues (one already mentioned) 7 days in kennels wont help her with the DW's either...
Debs is there any chance she could do the 3 weeks with the foster lady to a) give her the best chance and b)time to find rescue space? If she goes as planned she will almost certainly do only 7 days as aggression for what ever reason .... well we all know...
If there is any way of doing the finder to look after time (I kinda think its 3 week?) we could find a space for her with one of the many staffy rescues? x - 2014-06-02 23:40 digbysmum
- That's good news. I also agree with Jo Glos that the RSPCA isn't an option - poor girl wouldn't stand a chance with them. She looks very well cared for. Hoping that an owner comes forward, but pleased she is safe in the meantime xx

- Surely there,s someone who can give this little one some space to recover? I,m certain I,d be nervous aggressive if a bunch of hoodies were trying to drag me away. She must have been terrified. She needs to learn that humans are not all scared. I hope someone can help.

- But won't the dog warden end with same result as RSPCA.. Stressful kennels then euthanasia by next week. What a short miserable life for this dog.
- 2014-06-02 00:46 Debs
- This little lady is very nervous aggressive, I have been in contact with a lovely lady who went out to scan this dog where no chip was found. She is currently in a foster home as there was no out of hours warden services available. Dog warden will be contacted again in the morning

- Dog's trust Essex, near Basildon opens on 3rd June... She'd have more chance there, wouldn't she?
Facilities are brilliant.. No kennel faces any other. Training areas available etc. - 2014-06-01 20:27 Jot cotswolds
- Is there anyone in Essex/Suffolk who could foster this dog while suitable rescue can be found? If the RSPCA take her tomorrow then not only is she likely to be euthanised due to breed but she will also be even more distressed in kennels. Worst place to her...can anyone help??
- 2014-06-01 19:01 Jot cotswolds
- Her chances with the rspca are slim surely?
- 2014-06-01 17:59 Tamara - Area Volunteer, East London
- can also confirm, she has been scanned and no chip was found, aged at approx. 5 months, very scared girl. x
- 2014-06-01 17:35 Bo

- lease take dog to vet and get it scanned asap. Maybe also do search on here and see if one like her. She looks like either a Staffordshire bull terrier or staff cross.
