Hello everyone, just an update really. It's been over 4 years now and sadly we still haven't found our Archie, we still do not know what happend to him or where he is. I think by now he is definetly in doggy heaven. It's sad because we would of liked some closure really for ourselves and our children. Thank you all for your help and dedication to looking for Archie aswel as other poor dogs that are lost and missing. Thank you all.Last edited: 2018-12-05 13:13:17 by suzalder

Archie is still sadly missing. We have checked all that we have been sent and seen and sadly none have matched up to Archie. Hopefully one day we will either find him or find out what has happened to our boy.

The markings look very similar on his nose!
DogLostHelen - Regional Co-ordinator - Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridge
Thank you CG, I have passed these on to the owner to check.

Two different dogs but markings match. I think Dave may have had spots dyed around nose hence sore pink spots.
I went by spots on leg although left leg spots look very pronounced and darker.

MARLON

Introducing the very handsome Marlon. He is a male Liver and White Springer Spaniel. He is a lovely friendly boy a little not sure what is going on right now but that is to be expected. He has not shown any problems with the other dogs in nearby kennels but this pound is unable to dog test.

MARLON TIMES UP 11/1 IF NOT CLAIMED..

Albert is a lovely older chap who came into our care when his previous owner could no longer look after him.

He enjoys going for walks and having a gentle play with toys.

Albert is okay with the dogs he has met at the centre but we don't know how he would get on with other pets.

His hearing is not very good but this doesn't seem to cause him any problems.

If you think you can offer Albert the home he is looking for please contact the centre for more details.

If you are interested in rehoming Albert, you can download and complete a pre-homing questionnaire if you wish and bring it with you when visiting the centre.

Before considering rehoming an animal, please read our rehoming conditions.

Have spoken to Archies owner, the dog at Wakefield is not Archie.
Anne
Saw one on Alfies Lost Dogs FB page in Wakefield. Looks same in the face but can see the tail in pic and it doesn't say if male or female. Might be worth asking owner to check it out though.

Sorry to see that ARCHIE is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (69749)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
  • DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
