We have put a picture in all dogs homes in the area to be honest the picture isnt much good cos in real life when you see her stood up she looks quite different than on picture she is a big dog also even though she doesnt look like it on picture. Thanks again for everyones concern we are still looking and still got our fingers crossed time is passing quickly and all hope is beginning to fade. I hope she is being cared for somewhere.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

This dog looks exactly like mine - only mine's a boy - but he is a collie X - can't see her well in the pic. - but would it be worth the owners asking about collie crosses in the Dogs Homes and so on?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sadly we still have heard nothing been out for days and days looking put up loads of posters been to every rescue in the area rang every number there is to ring she has seemed to vanish of the face of the earth. We have a front page article in the local paper today so lets hope this pricks someones conscience as it looks like she may have been taken as there has been other reports of similar dogs going in same area at same time it just breaks my heart to think what may be happening to her.We may only be the charity that rehomed her but when she came into care she was on deaths door she was found on christmas eve under a car she was a little bag of bones the vet thought she wouldnt survive but she did and grew into a lovely pet with a wonderful home she really doesnt deserve this she is special to us all. Thanks again to everyone who has replied, still looking, SueLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks everyone for your kind words still no news about her. I run a small animal charity in Leigh and Star was rehomed by us last year so we are helping in the search for the owners who are absolutely distraught.Owners dont have a computer so i am dealing with this end for them. We are out postering tonight so fingers crossed will keep updating. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
