- Isn't it Sod's Law that the day the ID tag falls off your pet becomes lost. I'd advise all owners to buy two ID tags (keep one as a spare), so if one falls off, you can immediately replace it with the spare so your dog can be reunited easily if lost and for the owner to avoid that upto £5000 fine.
