  • Where Lost Ran away from his home at a farm in Haswell, Durham at the start of a thunder storm, around 6pm and hasn't been found since.

  • Other Info Has been known to go off exploring for an hour but always comes back. A very friendly farm dog who is unfamiliar with Urban areas.

He's back and he's absolutely fine! Was found by someone in Haswell in the pittington area. So so relieved he's home thank you so much for all your help x

Owners comments .......Reunited with my baby boy! Thank you sooooo much everyone for all your help without you we wouldn't have got him back... Thank you all please spread the word that he has been found! He will not be let out of our sites again little tinker!

Have contacted adopt a dog north east ...who at times are handed in strays and are in the HASWELL area...so they are aware of Benji ...advised owner to poster in areas sighted and thru doors and have added doglost link for people to be able to print off posters...xxx

I have just had a text from Benjis owner with more details of the possible sighting of him an hour and a half after he ran off and also another possible sighting . Owners text as follows ....,
Benji was seen coming from eke more woods way at easington lane at 7.38 last night so that makes sense. He was possibly seen today at low hills road Peterlee at 12.30. If anyone can get in the area and put posters up it would be greatly appreciated thank you for your help x

Details updated to include Benji is microchipped and was wearing a leather collar when he ran off.
Benjis owners have informed their dog warden and are checking with holding kennels for the area.
Benjis owner is trying to follow up on a possible sighting of a dog like him running out of woods a mile or so from home .
Hoping Benji is back home very soon x
