I contacted Marbles owner yesterday with what I thought was a genuine sighting of the dog along Hyde Hill, however I am now doubting if it was Marble since the dog I saw, although a similar size and look was a fawn/mink colour all over, further, my partner saw this dog on a flat roof of the one house on the Hill, Hyde Brae so we are now wonderibng if the dog we saw belongs to them. Sorry for any upset, the posters do not shoe the colouring as well as the picture on here.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

We've had 2 new sightings of Marble - one in Bussage and one in Chalford. He is reported to be thin but clean so maybe holing up somewhere like an outhouse/woodshed etc. Please check anywhere dry on your property if you live in the GL5/GL6 areas...REWARD OFFERED.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Marble has been seen in Bussage a few times but over the last 9 days we have had no sightings. Marble's owner is offering a reward and new posters have been distributed around the Stroud area. If you live anywhere in GL6, GL5 or GL7 or adjoining postcode areas please download the poster, add 'REWARD OFFERED' and put it up somewhere prominent in your area. We have NOT given up on getting news of Marble and wish to know anything - even if it is bad news - about him. So if you know something or are suspicious about something to do with this lovely young lurcher, please let us or DOGLOST know. Thank you.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Yes, thanks for your suggestions. Scent trails have been left and also some of the owner's clothes and Marble's own bedding at the last place he was seen on Thursday night 7th September. Several of us have been out looking for him with our own dogs and those of the owner - would it be possible to contact local helpers in the GL5 and GL7 postcode areas too? We are 'repostering' today and also have been handing dogwalkers we meet details...but sightings have been few and with days in between...Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Marble has been sighted twice recently- on Friday 1st September 7pm near Lypiatt Manor by myself and again last night Saturday 2nd September in Hyde by his owners at 10.30 pm. He appears to be very frightened but please keep looking for this dog as he is still around the Lypiatt/Bussage/Toadsmoor/Chalford areas. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
