REUNITED! Finder had handed Cloe to the Dog Wardens and they have just returned her to her delighted owners! It was worth all the work in the early hours!

Cloe will be going to Downs Farm Community Centre in Brightling Avenue, Ore where the Dogs Trust are doing FREE microchips .. hooray!! Love a happy ending!

No progress yet. Still trying to get a contact number for the lady who posted the photo of Cloe and her finder. Hoping this doesn't take too long as I can imagine how frustrating it is for Justin and Cloe's family. However, at least we know she is safe and not wandering the streets of Hastings.

Well done Clarkey will wait to see this young lady in the blue...

Oh wow! I've found her! Or at least I know where she is! She's not with the Dog Wardens though.

I put posted the link to this page on to Hastings Dog Lovers Fbk page and someone (KD) said there was a post today saying a dog like Cloe was found in the Old Town this afternoon. The lady who found her had taken her home and was keeping her safe. We can't contact her at the mo as she is probably fast asleep as we all shld be (!) but messages hv been sent to her. Justin has looked at the photo of the dog and says it is definitely Cloe!!

RESULT! I'm not a great fan of Fbk but it does have it's uses! Good work by KD and all done in the early hours .. think we were all up 'cos of the footy (prob shouldn't mention it .. not a good score!)
I don't usually do this at 2 in the morning but I don't mind when we get a happy ending!
So Cloe is safe for tonight and will, I'm sure, be reunited with her family in the morning!

Thanks for sending alerts out Gino.
Thanks millypod.
TN35 is Westfield and it sounds as though it could be Cloe. She is a Patterdale x and is brown and black. I have just spoken to Cloe's owner and said that they should ring the Dog Wardens straight away. It's a 24hr service so they should be able to speak to them. I'm waiting to hear if they manage to do this.
Cloe managed to get out of the house in All Saint's Street sometime this afternoon so it's possible someone has picked her up and taken her to their home, then handed her to the DW's.
If the found dog isn't Cloe I will print some posters and take them to her owners in the morning as they don't have a printer. Hoping it won't be necessary though! Last edited: 2014-06-15 01:15:41 by Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex
