REUNITED: Jane and I have been out all afternoon searching. We narrowed his area down due to sightings. To cut a long story short Harvey's Army (facebook group Find Harvey) paid for 5000 leaflets to be printed. We are awaiting our reg charity number. These leaflets were distributed to schools in the area, a man found Darcy sleeping behind a wall, his kids recognised Darcy from the leaflets and rang his mum. Amazing. Thanks everyone and DL for creating this fab place where people can come and check xx

I hope someone, preferably his owners, see him and coax him to them...sometimes when they've been on the loose for a while they are reluctant to go back even to their owners. Poor little chap....stay safe Darcy until you're home again...

100% confirmed sighting. 17.6.14 The afternoon Darcy ran off he was in the yard at Queensbury Van Hire at the top off Boothtown. Tow employees tried to coax him to them but he ran off. He went down the fields behind the cat's eyes factory towards Old Lane.

No, Darcy was not wearing a collar Jan but we went to look anyway just in case the man had used the silver choke collar to get hold of Darcy. This can now be discounted as the owner went back the following day and it was actually a man walking his own dog off the lead :(

But Darcy wasn't wearing a collar, it said he'd slipped his collar after being to the groomers and it was put on his neck too loose..

Unconfirmed sighting reported today at lunch time. Cross Lane and Moor Farm Close, Queensbury. A report of a black poodle with a silver choke collar running around. Had gone by the time owner arrived unfortunately.

Sighting's reported on the day he went missing (17th June).
1: Darcy was being chased my a man up New Bank towards Godley past the Prospect pub. Approx 3pm.
2: Darcy was seen at Range Bank and went onto Claremount Road but stopped outside a gate. The person who saw him thought he lived there and so drove on.
3: Darcy was seen in the Ploughcroft area at the top end of Boothtown. Approx 3.35pm.

Morning Happiness :) Have sent an e mail. The dog on Gumtree is def not Darcy which is good news Also Rawson School in Halifax has agreed to send a leaflet out with all pupils.

Posters have been put up around Claremount / Ploughtcroft / Swalesmoor area of Halifax and local farmers have been asked to check outbuildings and keep a look out for Darcy.

Been in contact with Fleet Kennels (Queensbury) and Cliffe Kennels (Sheffield) where Calderdale take found dogs. To date Darcy is not there. x

I have just spoken to Jane (the owner) and there have been no 'definate' sightings of Darcy. There have been some dead ends. Darcy was seen running in the direction of Boothtown / Ploughcroft and Jane has been out since 4am looking. He slipped his collar after a trip to the groomers and unfortunately it was not put on at it's usual fit. Darcy is 11 and is used to being pampered. Unfortunately the Gumtree ad had been removed. Please share this poster into as many groups, vet pages anything to help. Thanks xx
