Still no sightings. Last sighting was the evening of Thursday 26th June. We are becoming increasingly worried for her and would urge anyone who has sighted her in the last 10 days to get in touch and let us know. More posters have been placed in areas surrounding Sevenoaks / Ide hill / Goathurst Common and Stubbs Wood area.

Have been every afternoon, as Lydia says nothing seen for over a week. I am heading out today to re-post flyers and search again.
lyd54321
No sightings for a week now and I have been searching the areas previously spotted. She appears to have moved from the area. If anyone sees her or has spotted her in last 7 days please get in touch so we know what areas to search.
Nigel Ongley
Still no reported sightings of Peggy.Checked previous sighting areas at various points through the day around dibden,Britains lane, woodman pub and along back lane.Hopefully a reported sighting or retrieval will happen soon
Nigel Ongley
Just finished searching various locations including dibden / britains lane area / woodman pub area / oak lane etc but nothing to report sadly

A quiet weekend with no reported sightings. I've been to the woods each day and have trekked across the left hand ridge and down into the valley on the right hand side but no luck. Had hoped the rain and thunder might have brought her out but she prob went under cover.
Nigel Ongley
Been at dibden several times on 27th/28th looking and also placed trap but no sightings etc and nothing in trap
lyd54321
A number of sightings at dibden tonight. However it's too difficult to catch up with her. Hopefully we will get some luck over the next few days.
lyd54321
Sighted by dog walker at dibden at around 530pm today. Left hand footpath under the bridge. Full search of area between 530 and 730 with no luck. It's now raining so unlikely she will return until drier weather.
lyd54321
The Owner just had a call saying Peggy been seen on britains lane near new beacon school. The school backs on to britains wood which is the other side of dibden lane.
Nigel Ongley
Just finished a circle at dibden but nothing to report sadly
lyd54321
Walked the woods between 5.30 and 8pm tonight around the woodman pub and did a circle at Dibden but no sightings. 4 others out walking round Dibden now in the hope she will return.
Sarah Oliver
I've been returning to a fallen fir tree that looked like something had been sleeping among the branches, leaving Peggy's blanket and some biscuits. The first night, the blanket was moved to a nearby clearing but last night it didn't look like anything had slept there at all. The biscuits had gone of course. I'll keep returning there each morning and evening, using it as a 'feeding station'. It's located at the tip of the triangle of woodland between the two paths from Dibden Lane, so please keep your eyes peeled in that area. There are tracks that run pretty much in a straight line with the fir tree in the middle. The left hand side is the vehicle track that leads up to the logging area on the top of the ridge (Peggy was spotted up that path). On the right hand side is an animal track which cuts through to the field (where Chris saw her) and the pool/stream where she must be getting her water.
Spindle
Good idea to get some scenting down for her to keep her in one place.
lyd54321
Thanks. We went up to the woodman tonight and looked around but with no luck. Doglost poster given to them and placed on their notice board. We also walked around dibden in case she returned there but no sightings. Most likely she will retreat in the wet weather.

Lyd54321 - Jayne from Head Office has posted on that found (sighted) one that the sighting was today, as well as one on saturday, so that seems to have been the latest sighting.
lyd54321
Ok I have checked. The found one is a sighting of her from Saturday.
Nigel - back to the normal plan. Dibden lane tonight between 8-10!!!

There is a found (well sighted dog) in found section. Called Peggy, listed under brown and white cocker spaniel. This could be the latest sighting of her?
lyd54321
That makes more sense. Up the road from where we saw her last night. What time did they spot her? I will go up there now
DogLostJayne - Founder Doglost.
Its Back Lane near the Woodman pub.
DogLostJayne - Founder Doglost.
I will phone owner for an update as I don't know the area.
lyd54321
Are you sure bank lane and not oak lane? We saw her last night at Dibden Lane woods. She would have to travel several miles to underriver
Nigel Ongley
is that bank lane nr underriver?
DogLostJayne - Founder Doglost.
Spotted just now the spotter is going to ring owners direct. sighted in Woods off Bank Lane.
Nigel Ongley
Sighted her twice on 22/06 in area where Lyd54321 has reported previously on 22/06 at approx 7.45pm and again around 9pm but unfortunatley she is not wishing to come to anyone at present when calledLast edited: 2014-06-23 06:04:28 by Nigel Ongley

The owner had a phone call around 5pm saying that Peggy was sighted on the left hand footpath by Dibden lane just under the a21 bridge. Area searched but unfortunately she has not been found. It looks like she is returning daily to Dibden lane area as this is an area she is walked at and familiar with so please continue to look for her. Many thanks
lyd54321
I have contacted the owner today. She was contacted yesterday evening to say there was a potential sighting at Whitley Forrest near Goathurst Common which isn't far from the Woodman Pub. We will look in this area today. Please keep your eyes peeled if you are passing through this area. Last edited: 2014-06-22 13:06:26 by lyd54321

done several circuits during the day around dibden lane area but no sightings sadly so far
lyd54321
Thanks Nigel. No sightings now for a couple of days. Apparently someone thinks they saw her dibden lane area off oak lane very late Wednesday night but it only got reported after seeing the Sevenoaks chronicle article. We have also been searching tonight with no luck. Please keep your eyes peeled if you are passing.
Nigel Ongley
Just done a round of the area around 9pm but no sightings to report sadly
lyd54321
Hi. She is still missing. We think she is still in the kippington road area towards junction with oak lane. http://www.sevenoakschronicle.co.uk/Appeal-rescue-dog-bolts-just-days-rehomed/story-21264571-detail/story.htmlLast edited: 2014-06-19 23:15:08 by lyd54321
