- I am so pleased to get the call tonight that Fudge is safe and on his way home. Tiga found it so so hard tracking yesterday in the heat and he did amazingly well to take us to where he was found tonight. Well done to Luke who persevered and went back there at dawn this morning and late tonight where he was so pleased to be found.
- 2014-06-20 23:32 furryhound
- Owner returned to the search area tonight after dark and Fudge was there. He came running over whimpering and whining. So, so pleased he is home safe :)

- We used to live in shirehampton but I can't see how he would get that far on his own but thanks for the update
- 2014-06-20 14:00 Biggysbestmate
- Friend saw a beagle looking dog by the lamplighters pub in shirehampton about an hour ago. FYI
- 2014-06-19 22:26 Owl
- The heat makes the ground scent dry up, so it can be very hard work getting the trail, as well as the tracker dog feeling hot and tired. Hope the cool of the evening brings the scent up sharper.
- 2014-06-19 21:35 Fudge
- Not long finished searching for fudge but know joy in finding him today, thanks to everyone who helped today. Will continue searching early tomorrow and hopefully more luck
- 2014-06-19 19:12 Mollychops
- Nothing as yet. Its very hard for Tiga in this heat. Jenny was resting him last time we spoke, and resuming when cooler. Owners will have a barbecue tonight to try to entice Fudge out , as it appears he is staying in this area.

- contact any local hunts in the area - details on internet. Beaufort Hunt may be a good one - caroline@chavenage.com best contact. Ask her to publicise. It's a great way to reach local gamekeepers, farmers & landowners very quickly via their website and mailing list. It certainly started phones ringing when one of my spaniels went missing this year. Posters REALLY work. Also contact vets - not just your local one - people tend to take injured animals to their own vets which may be a distance away. Hope you find Fudge very soon xx

- Can email alerts be sent to BS37 as well please
- 2014-06-18 14:48 Mollychops
- Fudge escaped from his home when the gate got left open. He bolted and was seen being hit by a car and or by a bus too, varied reports coming in. H e was last seen in Westerleigh at 5.30 last night, still running on and scared. There have been no sightings since, so he could be anywhere in the area by now. Ive sent out advice sheets and poster etc, suggesting owner contacts Highways people, farmers, Sorting offices and anyone who might be out in this rural area. The dog has recently moved from shirehampton, so the people at his old address are alerted. If seen please ring the numbers as to approach him will make him more scared
