- Yes he is safe. I transported him and met up with the lady from the rescue who has a special foster home for him and the other staffie to be assessed. I hope a special home can be found for him as he is absolutely beautiful and just wanted a fuss, so hopefully once castrated he will accept other dogs, if so I'm number one in the queue.

- Try Rescue Helpers Unite forum.
Pat will need to join under the Mutts umbrella as giving rescue back up. It's free. Then she will be able to post up a transport run and hopefully she will get offers of help.
Rescues are usually restrained either by crating, tethering or using a doggy seatbelt.
A transport chain is then created from the offers that arise. Transfer points are often motorway service areas or similar.
It can be nationwide;past transports have travelled from Essex to Scotland!
Good Luck as I'm just too far away to help...Last edited: 2014-06-30 08:19:57 by CopperM - 2014-06-30 06:43 Patlucky
- Thank you allimac and Hazel.
All donations will be gratefully received.
As I have found out this weekend it is so hard to place dogs.
Staffies being the hardest at the moment with so many.
If it wasn't for Pat these dogs would have been put down today.
Still urgently need is TRANSPORT to move these two dogs today.
Someone who has a car/van with separate cages in.
Please can anyone help with this .

If you can help please call 01793 466080 or email awaine@swindon.gov.uk

- I have just spoken to a lovely lady about Will and Mila.
At Swindon needy dogs.
She has said they are only a small rescue.
IF she can get money for castration and spaying.
About £150 each PLUS foster homes she will take them.
Will is a very bouncy dog and like to jump up.
Can anyone with Staffie knowledge give these a chance
PLEASE - 2014-06-29 13:20 BorderCol
- Can the title be changed? Looks as if there are a few more hours left in which someone might give a chance to tihis dog and to Mila but both say PTS date 25.6 . Looks like they have until tomorrow morning..........

- Did this dog find help>????
As if he has not been PTS am looking for help - 2014-06-26 10:08 Gog Magog
- Hi Alison from Swindon Council here
Please share Will as much as possible to give him a chance. He is not a pure bred staff so the breed rescues will be unable to help.
He's a lovely boy with no malice, just needs some training and socialising. Because of his bounciness we can't rehome him direct to home with young children or other dogs but would consider a home direct or a rescue - distance is no obstacle!
Please also share 70654 and we're also asking for any donations for an op on one of our other death row dogs - 70663. Rescue Remedies is taking him and one of the other staffs (we have a lot...) but desperately need funds, donations can be made to them at: www.rescueremedies.co.uk
thank you - 2014-06-22 18:46 Unknown
- Really hope someone will give this boy a chance. Fingers xd.

- Have e.mailed Staffordshire Bull Terrier Rescue asking for help/advice. not heard anything. So much for their animal helpline number:-(
- 2014-06-20 21:50 Chris63
- Another poor boy going to be PTS if no rescue will take him. When the hell are owners going to take responsibility for their dogs instead of just dumping them. So hope he can be helped, fingers crossed. X
- 2014-06-20 13:40 Unknown
- Would the Staffordshire Bull terrier Rescue be able to help him? Or perhaps there is a person out there who has had experience of the breed, and loves a challenge would take him on. I find that when we go for a walk, solme dogs will give a gentle nudge, if they think we are too close to its owner. But we find with Staffies they will nudge their owners back so they can get all the fuss, attention, and tummy tickles they can get from who ever is willing:-) :-) :-) Last edited: 2014-06-20 13:59:26
