Becky - This is a cross post from SDK who are a contracted company that collect and hold strays in various regions for the councils who employ them. If you ring the number as above and quote the reference as given above and ask to be put through to Hannah. The alternative number is 01803 696910. He will be up for rehoming after his 7 days if he gets a rescue space so ring them ASAP. I have no other info other than given and I just cross post them from their website to give them a better chance of their owners finding them. Good luck.

Bo send me your contact details he looks like my dog that's missing called max from Sheffield area he's been missing since the 16th June and had no sighting I think he was taken, oh I'm seriously hoping this isn't him and someone has stolen him for bait :( worth a try to see of it's him.. Is he Abit protective would you say? Does he have white paws & white chest? Did he have a collar on when found? But then again it could be missing from his neck.. He did have a chip in his neck but could have worked its way out.. I have a pic on my profile on here of max. are they marks on his nose on top or bites where it's white it's just he looks similar to max and max is an Akita x husky
Bo
