Today I have been round and checked, all but one of my posters is still up. This morning I put one at the bottom of Henoconner lane, one in the Dr.s opposite, one near the bottom of Greehill Road and one at the bus stop at the top at the end of the Heights. I put one in the hairdressers above the bridge on Henconner Lane one in the shop on the Gambles, one in the hairdressers above the bridge on Henonner Lane, one in the petrol station at Bramley Town End and one in the shopping centre in Bramley, which attracted quite a few people. I will not be available for a few days, could you go further afield. Cockshott Lane area, Armley Town Street, West Leeds Boys, Hill Top, Stanningley Road. They are all quite local to you. Due to family commitments I haven't had much time this weekend, but today I took Woody to be chipped, whilst at Vets4Pets at Bramley I gave them a poster, they looked in a book they had and said you had notified them. I asked them to put the poster up in the surgery. They also suggested taking a poster to Pudsey Police Station. Is there any chance you could do that Lee. I have friend who lives not too far away from you with a Staffie and they are going to keep an eye out while they are walking theirs. JanetLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Lee. Becketts Park is off Otley road, you go past the summerfield supermarket and shops on you right in headingley and at the next set of traffic lights turn left up St Annes road, follow road right to the top and you'll find the park, quite large with lots of dog walkers. I have spoken to most of them, so they are all on the look out. Good luck. NikkiLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi, sorry I haven't much time today, I only managed another 2 posters, 1 at Pet Lodge, Oldfield Lane and 1 at Tollys Plaice (fish shop), Dixon Lane. The lady in Pet Lodge thought she saw 2 dogs running loose on Sunday morning down Tong Road, one had a lead on. Could these be your dogs? JanetLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Jayne, just nipped back to the park, it is a hand written notice Stray Dog found -9/9/06 - 0113 2799974, with a photograph of a brown and white, I think, cross dog, short haired, medium size couldn't tell what age as the picture was quite high, it looked very well cared for and is a very nice looking dog and obviously a treasured pet. Hi Lee, today I took some posters to work and laminated them. I have been and put some up, Wortley Rec., Western Flats Park, lampost next to Butterbowl Pub, lampost outside Carlos shop Farnley, Farnley Park, Post Hill, finishing off at the hairdresers opposit Gamecock, where you had already been and so I put one one each side of the road at the bus stops. A girl from work took one to the resevoir at West Ardsley and another girl has taken one to put up on the Tong Estate. I rang you from the hairdressers and will ring you tonight so that we can arrange where to put some more up, as you are new to the area. I understand from Jean and Bev (hairdressers) that you had a reply that a dog had been found in Farnley, I saw this poster too but unfortunately it wasn't Tyson. Keep your chin up between us we will saturate the area. Janet Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I will put a poster up in the Community Board at Leeds Bus Station. Hope you find him soon. I have a Staffie and he went missing once for an hour and it was the worst hour of my life. If you haven't found him by 18th September go to the Lea Gap Horse Fair in West Ardsley nr Leeds as they sell on dogs there. Good luck.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Lee I have e.mailed Tyson's poster to Brian at Whitehall Dog Rescue. Have you put a poster in the Pet Lodge next to Netto and the pet shop near the Gamecock. When our Woody went missing I sent posters to all the local pubs and hairdressers in the area. Don't give up hope we had Woody returned after he was missing for 8 weeks. I really hope he is home soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi. Apparently Lea Gap Horse Fair West Ardsley nr Leeds is on, on September 18th, dogs do get sold there and some, if not all, are thought to be stolen. Maybe worth a try if he is not back home by then.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

What a cute little chap Tyson is and distinctive too with his dark ears. Ask your postman if he or she will deliver A5 mini posters of Tyson, covers more ground that way. Also poster as many local vets as you can, bus stations, bus stops, supermarkets and pet supermarkets. Hope this younster is safely reunited with his family soonxxxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
