So pleased she has been found. It will take a while for her to see her new family as home. Stay safe young lady xx

According to Brighton Dogwatch FBk page ....
"TIKKA HOME SAFE AND WELL. Here is what her mum says:
After her adventure Tikka is back safe and sound at home. Still not sure how she managed to find her own way to the RSPCA! Clever dog. Thanks to everyone for your help and support."

Hope you find her but please keep this dog on a lead and get a sighthound collar so she can't escape :( shouldn't be off lead until recall has been mastered my dog is a ex travellers dog and still doesn't go off lead after 4 months I don't trust her to not come back just yet but we are working hard to get her recall perfected ..! Hope she stays safe poor baby x

No help now I know but surely a dog cannot be expected to have bonded in a new home that quickly..so much new and angst-making for it and nothing bonding it to recall to a new owner. Hope to god this dog is found again but please...owner..get some advice on rehomed dogs and excercise..for the dog's sake. Needs to be on a harness unless you are in secure safe ground.

Ah what a shame maybe she needs to be kept on her lead for a while xx hope she is found quickly xxxxx
angi
oh for goodness sake...she must have only been rehomed again a short while ago. Hope she does go to the puppy park and is caught very soon x

Dachshund Watch UK
We have just been sent the following message on the Brighton Dogwatch page about another potential sighting: "I've seen a dog matching the one in Westdene at the roundabout Carden Avenue about 4.10 same colour ran all over road and went into the park on your right as you go to Brighton"
angi
Just spent about 4 hours looking. Walked up woodland drive to the cafe at top of Dyke rd then down the fields to the windmill, looked around all the fields in that area and around the roads of Westdene where she has been seen. Blimey forgot how very hilly it is round there! Sat near the Windmill for ages hoping she might turn up for a drink in the almost dried up pond but no sign. Spoke to a guy on a bike who had seen her nearby earlier and was also looking for her. I also spoke with a neighbour of her new family who had seen her shooting down the road into Redhill drive. The RSPCA have set up a feeding station and trap in a garden she seems to be going back to so hopefully it won't be long before she is caught. X
angi
Just seen on Brighton dog watch that she was seen last night and again this morning in Redhill Drive near the junction with Valley Drive so still in the area of her new home. I'm going to head over there when I can this morning x
angi
I'm by Hove park but If she's still out tomorrow we will walk over there and have good look around the area x

Update on Brighton Dogwatch earlier today ..
There have been a couple of sightings in Westdene, close to where she went missing. If you are in this area please keep an eye out.
This is a nervous dog, only just rehomed from the RSPCA.
allimac
worrying as she has had no time to bond with her new home. Any chance the local rescue/transport people can leave a scent trail? Am currently nearby and will try to do some walks in the close area. xx

Thank you maddogs, but unfortunately that's not her. I have added two pictures to the posting now so hopefully it will be easier to identify her if spotted.

Probably a false lead, but found dog no 71348 was originally listed as a pharoah hound then changed to Basenji. Worth a look as clear photo. Good luck!
